I wouldn't recommend pirating anything untill you know what you're doing.
Download steam and check out some of the free games on their to so you can get a handle on how pc games work
>Paladins
>Path of Exile
>Tera Online
>Brawlhalla
Are all free and there are plenty more to pick from.
Play fps or stratgey games since you have a mouse
Play beautiful games because you have a gpu
Play modded games since you have mods
(Play free games since you have torrent)
i guess the new call of duty
go back to
Now realize there's nothing to play
>build gayman PC
>still play 90s cRPGs

Just got an i5-9600K with 32gb of ram and an RX 590 (everything was $800), runs all games just fine at ultra on 1080p but I’m afraid it will meme on me with next gen games because originally I planned to go with a Radeon VII (can’t go Nvidia or 5700XT because Hackintosh).
How fucked am I and how long will it keep running everything at 60fps?
This. Hard to find motivation to play games when 4chins is a click away.
this thread is further proof that PC gaming is an absolute fucking meme
That i5 sounds nice, but if you start running into trouble next gen i suppose you could shoot for a high end i7. I assume your mobo allows for overclocking and ram tweaking
these are the best free multiplayer games imo. and they don't have microtransactions.
>runs all games just fine at ultra on 1080p
you're fine
>but I’m afraid it will meme on me with next gen games
The only games you could possibly have trouble running are hyper-unoptimized AAA trash that is hidden behind 3 layers of virtual-machine DRMs while playing in VR.
AKA games that aren't worth your time anyways
>Hackintosh
Don't.
Should have gone for the VII if you're really worried about future proofing.
The 590 will last awhile on 1080p.
Don't play any games and start mining crypto
Nice, i might have to check them out. Have you tried Deceit? That game is pretty fun, 6 players are in a match but two are monsters that transform after a few minutes and try to kill the other players
>a
why are you reccomending him a cpu upgrade when clearly its his gpu that is the bottleneck?
There are 6 Batman games for free on Epic store. I wouldn't recommend it to someone with a bunch of important data on their PC, but since your build and system is new there's nothing data sensitive for them to take from you.
The plan was to get this and upgrade later to an i9 and the Radeon VII until I lost my job, that is. So now I'm stuck with this.
>I assume your mobo allows for overclocking
It does, but I don't know how to get it working. I got it to show 4.2GHz in my bios but in both Mac and Windows it showed up as 3.1GHz (when the base clock is 3.7). Am I retarded?
I hope you're right.
>Hackintosh
>Don't.
...You don't expect me to run Microshit Wangblows as my main OS, do you?
i haven't played it but it sounds fun. zombie panic source has something similar, if you get hit by the carrier zombie there's a random chance of getting infected and eventually turning into another zombie which gives you a chance to ambush the other humans.
Buy yourself a decent VR headset. There are hardly good games releasing now, at least try a new medium.
Get some emulators, and get ROMs of games you always wanted to play, or played but never got to beat, and have at it. It's the best reason to have a PC.
you're 10 years too late
Play Gunvolt.
there are still plenty of old classics he should play. that's mostly all i do now since i can't afford vr.
I wouldn't worry about over clocking rn, your hardware should be able to tun most games this gen. There are alot of guides online for cpu overclocking and ram tweaking. Gpu overclocking is alot simpler, but you can tear it up if you aren't careful
That sounds fun, is a stand alone or do i need Half Life 2 or another source engine game to run it?
I hate rgb in fans and ram , but this one looks prety good user
The secret of RGB faggotry is to use one solid color, two colors max.
Oi Yea Forums, console baby here
I'm actually buying parts right now, i don't plan on overclocking and was wandering if I'd be better with an i5 or i7 for the CPU?
Futureproof yourself if you can afford it. Especially go for the i7 if you're buying used or past gens, if you're buying new and 9th gen AND on a budget, then get the i5.
it's standalone now, all the old hl2 mods that are officially on steam don't need hl2 anymore
