No, it's because the world is fucking ugly, empty, static, boring, forces you to trudge through it over and over again. There isn't even a lick of puzzle solving or well-designed dexterity level design and subtle platforming.

It's because the combat is absolute fucking trash. Basically Bayonetta without anything that makes Bayonetta good. You can literally spam dodges all day, the combos are shit, the robot minion gimmick is shit, and clunky, the animations feel weightless.

The character design and rigging also looks horrendous with the sole exception being 2B.

I tried to like it.

Nah, it's pretty objective that the world is a barren wasteland without any level design finesse and that the fights are shallow compared to other Platinum games and you don't even get punished at all for dodge spam.

It was already outdated when it came out. Combat was worse than the 15 year old DMC3, level design non-existent, framerate shit, graphics shit, brought nothing new to the table.
