Sometime's there's a big delay between picking an option and when a character starts speaking. Only issue I noticed but it's irritating, especially towards the end when a certain character starts emoting heavily but doesn't speak

This game is a different genre than ZTD. ZTD is visual novel with gameplay sections. This is a point and click mystery adventure game. The dream sections are about the characters, the "game" part is trying to figure stuff out as you go along.

For the most part I just went as fast as I could read, except during critical scenes where I didn't want to mess with the pacing. Also every time there was an info dump that I already heard in another route I just held RT.

The funny thing is she's basically just talking about how "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" is something that has a basis in reality.

Yes you are. I just tested it in game and the only way to run out of time is because you're not using any of the timeys. At the top of the screen there are mods to reduce the time of actions and if you're using each one for the next step, you'll have more than enough time for all the actions.

Use the timies you dumb fuck, you get like 3 free ones from Iris. If you still can't solve it not even nanomachines could remove the brain tumor you must have.

Timie management can be a bit hard going in blind. So you might fuck up boss's psync because you didn't bring enough timies to tackle both the ladder and open the door.

Using purely keyboard, you scroll through them with I think z and c. To activate, it's spacebar from memory.

I made a bunch of mistakes in that somnium and still ended up having enough left over time to use a [1/something] timie on the ladder, it's super fuckin forgiving. Also, if I recall correctly it gives you enough [1]s to use on every door (besides the one that gives a x999 penalty timie) AND the ladder.

I just finished ZTD after beating 999 and VLR a few weeks ago (bought them during steam summer sale) and overall I thought ZTD was pretty good and had the best puzzles of the series.

I've said it a ton, this game is a murder mystery. It's supposed to be solvable. The gameplay is 20 hours of cross checking ages and making inferences. I think people who go in expecting this to be like Zero Escape are going to be disappointed because those games had good puzzle chunks and a story you were just along for the ride with.

So are there parallel worlds or not? In the epilogue Date has a memory of Mizuki crying over him in the hospital, from her route. He remembers the taxi driver too. Some of the other events do get explained by Date regaining his past memories though.
