Time for a DC thread. What's your favorite strategy ? Favorite level ? How many cells are you on ? What did you think of the plot twist about the MC's identity? Any chance for a new DLC ?
Currently trying to get to the Giant on 4 cells difficulty on a Tactics run but that's tough.
I beat it on the first few difficulties and got bored. I see no reason to go overboard with the additional cells
Parker Adams
Game really change on other difficulties. New enemies and mechanics.
Jackson Brown
>Any chance for a new DLC? Rise of the Giant was just an update though.
Tech illiterate user here, how do I edit my saves? I lost all my outfits and some weapons and am too lazy to get them back again.
William Taylor
Not nearly enough for me to play the same content again. I don't do it for DMC either
Julian Reed
The Giant update was a DLC. I don't get why because it's free and doesn't add anything that players might not want in their game.
Jose Fisher
>the Giant update was a free DLC So it was just an opt-in update then.
Dominic Rivera
>Any chance for a new DLC ? Didn't "who's the boss" update hit consoles a couple weeks ago?
Jason Reyes
True, I was thinking more about a whole new boss.
Elijah Ward
Update 14 hasnt released on consoles yet it seems.
Eli Richardson
Never beat it. Maybe I'll try in some months. >Strategy. I love big, slow weapons, but here I've always gone pure Brutality or Brut/Tact mix, favoring bonus damage from bleeding/burning, etc. Bows and Assassin's Dagger whenever I could. >Level The Forgotten Sepulcher >Plot Twist Haven't reached it yet.
Sebastian Watson
>What's your favorite strategy ? Tactics. Quick bow and turrets. No slow weapons for me. Alchemic carbine is the only exception. >Favorite level ? Ossuary >How many cells are you on ? 5 BC >What did you think of the plot twist about the MC's identity? The twist itself didn't blow my mind as much as how the entire plot was a mindfuck in itself. >Any chance for a new DLC ? I'd say high chance. They said they were planning on working on at least 2 more years on the game to add content. Hoping for a co-op mode at some time.
Liam Ross
>favourite strategy Sword and board with grenades to take care of ranged enemies. >favourite level Used to be the fishing village until the red slimes were added. Now its the Ossuary.
Easton Bailey
>how the entire plot was a mindfuck in itself. really dead cells has a good story? i just assumed i killed shit endlessly i had no idea the game had a good story
Justin Turner
Twist felt like they were making it up as they go along.
Because they are.
Jack Hughes
i hate that i bought the gog version and as such cant really use mods since they are all locked behind the steam workshop pretty much.
Joshua Phillips
>cant really use mods since they are all locked behind the steam workshop Your not missing out on much. The workshop has yet to produce a good mod, and at the rate its going I doubt it will.
Hudson Bell
>really dead cells has a good story? Not really. It's just the die-restart mechanic that's explained in some awkward ways.
Jason Reed
i kept being told that but i still feel bummed out that lots of extras are often cut out from gog games. slay the spire is a good example too. when the game launched all the mods that were on github have been changed to be hosted on the steam workshop. the devs dont seem to care that people outside steam get shafted. heck there are now dedicated forums to mod piracy. i guess its not really dead cells fault but i sometimes feel like if i buy a game on gog i get punished for not buying it on steam. feels bad man
What you're saying is in fact bullshit. Every biome has an enemy level. Enemies level up independently from you going further into the game. If you ignore taking any scrolls they will kill you instantly and you will struggle to kill them because your weapons are underpowered due to not having taken any scrolls.
Sebastian Flores
>when the game launched all the mods that were on github have been changed to be hosted on the steam workshop This seems to happen far too often. There is nothing stopping modders from hosting their mods on multiple sources, and yet most mods end up on only one site. >there are now dedicated forums to mod piracy Really? could you link some or at least guide me in the general direction of them.
