Smash Terry

What do you expect Terry Bogart from Fatal of Fighters' Smash stats to be in terms of weight, air speed, falling speed, etc.?

If Rising Tackle is meant to be his up special that his big overall flaw will be mediocre vertical recovery, so he'll be one of those Captain Falcon/Chrom types of characters that's got good speed and fearsome power but will have a tough time getting back to the stage once launched.

Safe bets on his moves being
>Neutral Special: Power Wave
>Side Special: Burn Knuckle
>Up Special: Rising Tackle
>Down Special: Crack Shoot(or Power Geyser), or maybe either/or depending on Terry being in the air or on the ground
>Final Smash: Buster Wolf; not very flashy compared to most stuff but there are a decent number of one/two hit Final Smashes like Link's Ancient Arrow, Dark Pit's staff, and Chrom's Aether and it makes those two hits all the more impactful, plus the activation wind up gives the opportunity for the traditional asking if his opponent is okay
>alternatively a contextual Final Smash like Ryu/Ken where one is Buster Wolf and another can be Rising Force/Overheat Geyser/Star Dunk Volcano
Odds of Ryu/Ken-style inputs mimicking his traditional inputs? Or at least different variations on pushing A to mimic the light punch/heavy punch/light kick/heavy kick inputs?
Chances for hatless bomber jacket Garou skin?

i expect him to be boring

AHAHAHAHA HE SUCKS

>Down Special: Crack Shoot(or Power Geyser), or maybe either/or depending on Terry being in the air or on the ground
>doesn't even question the power wave in the air

>fg character
mid tier at best

Up B could be power dunk

Air B would obviously be Power Dunk then.

Steve will never be in.

>Up Special: Rising Tackle
Upsmash being rising tackle is the only reasonable way to implement a charge move in a game like Smash.

and what precedence do you have that an upsmash would send a character that high into the air to be punished in a game like smash

Why would they add this character when Geno is still being asked for

>Geno
kek stay salty puppetfag
just be grateful if you even get your costume back

he'll probably be able to use crack shoot or burn knuckle to recover horizontally at least, assuming those dont put him in free falling.

Terry falls much faster after a rising tackle than Ryu or Ken fall after a shoryuken, to the point where it's sometimes possible to combo a rising tackle into another one; this is especially true with the light version which barely has any vertical travel at all. If they wanted him to feel faithful to how he plays in his original games, removing the charge requirement from the move would make him feel very different, and a traditional charge input just doesn't work in a game like Smash that emphasizes constant movement, especially for a traditionally rushdown oriented character like Terry.

Rising Tackle used to be a DP motion, so

>Holding Start while selecting him selects EX Terry
>His Dash attack is Fire Kick

Why not make his Final Smash be Overheat Geyser and after that's done he finishes the opponent off with Buster Wolf?
That would be more exciting.

I'm hoping buster wolf and power geyser are a part of his normal moveset, either as desperation moves or him having a meter or something. Overhead geyser/star dunk volcano can be his FS

Crack shoot I can see being a sacrifice KO kind of move like the Chromikaze or Incinicide if he launches himself off the stage.

>Overheat Geyser
that's just the official name for triple geyser

>Odds of Ryu/Ken-style inputs mimicking his traditional inputs?
probably will have normal smash inputs doing some moves and traditional inputs doing others
remember that crack shoot and burn knuckle share a motion so those have to be split
rising taco as a charge move would not work in smash either
>b-but it was DP motion!
yeah, for two games out of like 20, and if they do go that route you have the same problem from above with it and power dunk

>Hat Ken.
>Muscle Pokemon Trainer.
>Cucked hard by Mii Costume.

Yep, it's going to shit tier, lmao.

>>Hat Ken.
Nice meme
>>Muscle Pokemon Trainer.
This is what little kids thought. Is your knowledge of videogames the same as the one of a small japanese kid?
>>Cucked hard by Mii Costume
Sans got more retweets than Banjo too. Hell, he got more tweets than every other DLC fighter of the pass.

>>Cucked hard by Mii Costume.
Terry is a fighter, Sans isn't.
Terryfags still won.

Nah, just came here for a laugh.
Thanks for responding, Terryfag. Gotta make sure to keep you on your toes and remind you how much of a disgrace your character is, while the Mii Costume is considered the true reveal, lmao.

As long as he doesn't have any hat-specific animations it could work.
But then you couldn't really do some of his famous victory animations in the results screen.

Why should I care about "MUH HYPE!!!"? Terry is in the game, Im already happy while you faggots can do nothing but seethe.

>Terry Bogart
>Bogart

Cares enough to answer me while I'm only presenting facts.
Your shit character is the first that has been eclipsed by a Mii Costume, lmao.
That NEVER happened before, haha.
I guess that is something you can celebrate, no?

I can celebrate my character being in smash
