a pc can be as low as $1000 ($600 in the US, thanks everything), and yeah both the console and the PC will look just as nice. But the PC can do so much more that a console cant.

I used to be one of these dipshits. I almost fell for the xbox one x meme. Thank god I decided to build a pc instead. delidded 8700k with an aio, gtx 1080, 3200mhz ddr4, nvme ssd, 165hz 1440p monitor, etc. I have played pubg on xbox, and it took a solid minute for basic textures to load after a drop. My pc has things rendered in 1440 ultra (since turned down for competitive advantage) instantly at 80% gpu load. No input lag is also a fucking crazy thing when you first experience it. If you have the money, I would wholeheartedly recommend a pc. And, nothing says you can't keep and use your console for exclusives.
