Shitty imo. Falcom doesn’t understand good world-building, at least, not anymore. Adding tons of autistic details that take forever to read through doesn’t matter when the world you’ve created is so generic and boring.
The Cold Steel games have awful pacing and annoying tropes. It sucks beating bosses but losing in cutscenes afterwards over and over again.

The series is fucked because of this guy. Even if Falcom tried to distance itself from CS and start a Calvard arc or something, (which won't happen soon since CS5 is in the oven right now) Rean and his magical aphrodisiac aura will still cause every woman in the world to get wet just thinking about him. There's literally no room for a new MC unless Rean dies, which is impossible since you can count the amount of people that died throughout Sky, Crossbell and CS on the fingers of one hand.
