Then don't play it.
but then how will he have Yea Forums clout?
are there any games like morrowind in terms of exploration and atmosphere, but with non-shit gameplay, animations etc?
Because Yea Forums is populated by more cultured men than you
Unfortunately the game devs back then didn't have today's technology or there'd be lots
Daggerfall, which is unironically a better game
Skyrim
Had to force myself to finish
game is indeed boring
this is arrogant to say, but I legitimately think finding morrowind boring means you're probably kind of an idiot. I can guarantee you the average person who finds morrowind boring can count the number of books they've read in the past year on one hand (not including shit they were forced to read for their summer book report). I mean I'm not saying you had to LOVE the game, but finding it boring pretty much means I assume you're kind of a dumbass.
stalker shadow of chernobyl
eye divine cybermancy
shadow warrior 2
not saying they are the exact same type of games but just that exploration is a pretty big part of it while combat is at least servicable. i say stalker is pretty similar to morrowind in scale/goal
yawn
Stop doing city quests and go explore the wilderness. There are treasures and new enemies waiting for you.
>Playing games without mods at all
Daggerfall
hi, Yea Forums here
morrowind is overrated as fuck and pretty boring
>using mods on your first play through
>capitalizing the first word of your greentext
based
>e-books
Cringed.
>games like morrowind in terms of exploration and atmosphere
>Daggerfall
...
Morrowind is a giant turd
And before you go zoom, no, I don't mind reading in games
In fact, I've enjoyed games like Baldurs Gate 2, Pathologic, etc, that have lots of reading
Those games, however, have good writing and interesting characters, Morrowind has none of that
It's Bethesda-tier writing, bugs and a boring world
Morrowind sucks my dick
>hi, Yea Forums here
That doesn't mean anything. Do you know how many morons are on Yea Forums? I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you're one of them.
>hi, Yea Forums here
this is quite possibly the gayest thing i have seen all week on this website. Why, and i cannot stress this enough, THE FUCK would we care that you read books.
kys faggot,
>you can't read books and dislike morrowind
>'no'
>w-well you must be a moron
>to be fair, you have to have a pretty high IQ to enjoy Morrowind
I like Morrowind, but you sound like a pompous ass
hey retard, youre the one that brought it up like it has value. no one is insinuating that reading books and liking morrowind are related except you
Not him but it'd be very difficult for the average Skyrim player to enjoy Morrowind
You can be an idiot and thoroughly enjoy Skyrim. Can't be said for Morrowind.
that other faggot tried to use the old 'books are intellectual' argument to prove his gay point that morrowind is a great game.
it's not really surprising that people who jump on morrowind's dick believe in such a stupid meme.
wow, a real intellectual in our midst
cringe cope with a splash of seething
finely based, redpilled and CHAD
>book comparison
very high iq! smart guy!
To add to your point, reading and intelligence aren't even that strongly correlated.
meant for
my bad again
meant for
Fuck off back to your dopamine addiction you eternal spit bucket
Daggerfall has great music
yeah, like.. uhh.. playing games
What factions have you joined so far?
Have you messed with Daggerfall Unity user? People are adding custom factions and stuff to it.
LeFay and Peterson are working on a new Elder Scrolls Daggerfall successor too.
>cant even read the fucking 4 post long conversation
>in a thread with less than 30 posts
holy fuck the meme is real
Daggerfall's atmosphere is completely different, though. Not to mention that it has no exploration.
From Software games.
Play Gothic 2
WHERE THE FUCK DO I SELL THIS SKOOMA
No he doesn't. He calls a cat a cat.
I legitimately think finding morrowind boring means you're probably kind of an idiot.
pharisees on Yea Forums
It's ok to have a wrong opinion.
t. Morrowind IDF Captain
morrowind is comfy af
Khajits obviously, there's a mage's guild khajit merchant in Balmora. You can also try looking for the scamp in Caldera.
>Daggerfall Unity
They're still working on that? I know it's an indy project, but damn
Hold my easy mode.
is that a fucking Zard from adventure quest?
It just came out in a feature complete alpha
What are some good, stable mods that make the game a bit better looking?
You can do all main quest an guild content and there are already mods for new quests, random encounters in the world and towns, and shards around the map to incentivize exploration.
And where or how do we get this dagger unity thing?
Google it
Show me your Construction Set houses, anons!
You did make your own house, right? You wouldn't live like a hobo in a dead orc's house.
Oblivion is Morrowind streamlined and its fantastic.
Velothi Towers are the comfiest houses.
Oblivion is Morrowind but without the things that made Morrowind interesting and even uglier somehow
Why did you post the average Morrowind player?
>It just came out
>Not living in a boat and storing all your things in identical crates

THIS GAME IS FUCKING BULLSHIT
>I ATTACKED SOMEONE AND VIVEC KILLS ME IN RETALIATION DDD:
I don't get it
I've always tought of you Americans as cliff racers in real life.
Lurk moar, and you will discover it in time
Reminder to use a mod to delay the Dark Brotherhood attacks if you install Tribunal. They're not intended for new characters but Bethesda is stupid.
>he fell for the nostalgia morrowind meme
I liked outward but it was quite repetitive.
Just use the potion exploit to make speed and fatigue potions.
But don't go further than that, or you'll break the game, and make it too fucking easy.
>using Netch Leather Armor
>when Chitin Armor is stronger, barely costs more, and can be found at the starting shop
It's a e s t h e t i c
Not OP but might as well dress however you want since your armor skill matters more than the armor itself. Someone can run mid tier armor through the entire game with little problem so long as their related armor skill is high. Enchantment limit is far more important.
>cultured men
oh wow, a bunch of retarded 15 year olds, cultured """""men""""
Unfortunately leveling your armor skill is really stupid. You just have to sit there letting a mudcrab attack you while healing yourself for ages.
It'll naturally level up as you play the game, eventually you'll run into someone that's a master trainer of the skill and then you just max it.
I never really bothered to raise skills if they were Major. They go up fairly naturally.
Minor and misc. skills, however, do require training if you want them to be more than beginner/party tricks, and the game throws so much money at you that you might as well
>hi, Yea Forums here
Post books or gtfo
Not him but if that armour was so important why doesn't he already have it instead of it beig autistically buried in a starting shop where the player has no idea if they'll need it or not or if it's worth it
t. never played morrowind
It's in the starting shop, and the next 3-4 towns afterwards, and on bandits. It's such a common type of light armor, and so much better than leather armor, that you have no reason NOT to use it unless you just think leather armor looks better
>reAdInG mAkE yOu SmArT
he looks like he fucks argonian slaves
You can find nearly a complete set of Chitin armor in the first fucking town in the game and the bandit cave that's 10 feet away.
Instead of using a Shield spell, use a spell of Fortify Skill and buff your preferred armor skill. Shield costs a lot of magicka and it's one point of armor per point of the spell. Fortifying your armor skill is cheaper and, if you're wearing a full set, will give a lot more protection per point.
Fortify x skill effects aren't available for purchase outside of the dlc.
I enjoyed KCD quite a lot. It's sort of similar in progression as you start with absolutely helpless character, do minor stuff like hunting hares (you just run around with a stick and hit them because you suck at archery to the point you hurt yourself when you take a shot) and pretty much nobody does not give a fuck who the hell you are.
The game sure lacks giant mushrooms, fleas and ashlands, but it managed to replicate the thing I loved about Morrowind.
what's wrong with e-books?
