What are some must have titles bar Astral Chain?
Not interested in Mario & co, might give Zelda a shot.
I'm debating whether to buy a Switch or not, already have a PC, PS4 & PS3, so I'm mostly interested in exclusives plus maybe indie titles to play on the go.
What are some must have titles bar Astral Chain?

Thanks, I'll look them up.
What's Fire Emblem all about? I've never played it before.
My favorites are Mario Tennis Aces and Splatoon 2, I love kicking peoples asses online in both lol
fire emblem 3 houses is also surprisingly legit. best new switch game of 2019 imho
dunno. I'm basically in the same position as you, I have a PC and I'm considering the switch lite. I just didn't pick it because I didn't like the art although I'll probably get it eventually.
Fire Emblem is a turn based strategy RPG. You have a group of characters that you individually move around the map, and try to put them in the best possible position to fight the units of the enemy army. In addition to melee fighters, you can have archers, magic users, and healers.
Three Houses, the new one on Switch, also has a big focus on the downtime between battles, where you explore your home base, talk to the characters in your army, and train them.
If you like Platinum the Bayonetta games are pretty great. Three Houses amazing but won't appeal to everyone. BoTW is great even if you aren't into the whole nintendo thing. Xenoblade 2 if you like JRPGs. I use it as my indie machine and I like nintendo games but I was in the same position except going the other way with the PS4
good post
I would say monster hunter. It's a bit tough to get into but after the first hour or so if gets real good.
Sounds quite nice.
Come to think of it XCOM on Switch would be amazing.
Out of Platinum titles I've only played Nier Automata and Astral Chain (I've borrowed a Switch from a friend) and I've enjoyed both a ton. Definitely willing to give their other games a try.
>not interested in Mario
Tryhard faggot
Cuphead
RE remake HD
Odyssey
Mario kart 8
Hotline Miami collection
Bayonetta 1 and 2
Tropical freeze
I just don't like these sorts of titles. The artstyle is repulsive to me and I hate platformers.
Not saying they're bad games, just not for me.
XCOM is far too poorly optimized to run on the switch.
But if you can get past your disdain of Mario, the Mario/Rabbids crossover is basically XCOM lite. The mechanics aren't as deep but I actually like it better because there's less bullshit RNG.
Isn't EU on the Vita?
I didn't know cuphead was on switch. Great, that was literally the only reason picking up an xbone even crossed my mind.
Is the mecha game that just came out on switch worth getting?
Mario/rabbids game was one of the best on there for awhile.
>Already have a pc, ps4 and ps3
could you even be more of a weeb?
I would recommend Odyssey even if you don't like Mario. The movement is just so fucking good and it has some pretty awesome moments.
Fire Emblem is great, if you never owned a Wii U obviously get Bayonetta 2 and Tropical Freeze. Splatoon 2 and its DLC is kino. BOTW if you don't already have it on Wii U or emulated it. Smash Bros if that interests you. Also Xenoblade 2 if you're an easily amused idiot.
DxM is pretty much as good as the AC games, so take from that what you will.
The switch has some solid jrpgs and Indies. My personal favourite games on the system are 3H, Xenoblade 2, Mario Rabbids, Astral Chain and Splatoon.
But honestly, the dock and joycons are pretty much memes and you can go full handheld with the Lite if you want. It's already underpowered as shit, so why not put the extra money into games instead of the regular version.
