It's cute! Cute!
Cute choogle
But...it’s evil
WHERE'S THE BABY
Why are they called pirates, when it’s mainly the species military, unless ALL of these species pillage places?
Why is Samus a bounty hunter if there’s no “catching criminals” mission in any of the games?
How does a suit download ammunition?
How does a space dragon start out as a bunny, and learn to speak fluent languages?
How do the pirates even determine who leads them? Is it mainly whoever has drastic different body types, compared to others?
Do ALL reptile pirates start out as baby bunnies?
How does a newborn flesh eating parasite become morally attached to a human?
How did it know to fight off a giant brain computer?
Why does the brain computer grow legs and teeth?
evil =/= not cute
cute =/= good
Can’t be that bad
Obviously false senpai
Technically OM is noncanon because otherwise every other game in the franchise isn't canon. This being an imperfect clone of Ridley could also be why it starts out as this little furby shit.
Why would the feds want to clone their enemies?
video games
The same reason they decided to house an entire ship of deadly life sucking space jellyfish?
It's canon until Nintendo explicitly says it isn't. Inconsistencies do not dictate canon status, they only mean the writing is shoddy.
Hi, Dobson.
Why is OM so hated again?
I love Metroid and have played them all except for the Prime series, but I quite enjoyed OM.
I'm not defending it you retarded faggot, it's an objectively terrible game and it IS canon.
>and have played them all except for the Prime series
why not?
I've played every 2d metroid game and the prime series, but I STILL don't understand metroid lore or the story
it has a lot of story and this is a franchise where a lot of people get anal about having any story at all
also the story was shit
and the gameplay was crappy too
Because it’s kinda barebones. They don’t really explain the pirates, the fact that every bounty hunter has a laser arm etc
Them being FPS kinda turned me off at the time. Didn’t find out how good they where until later.
I’ll probably pick them up one day and bust out my wii
Nintendo doesn't care much about continuity so don't bother
The gameplay is really average at best. It's basically a railroad even during the fucking endgame/epilogue. On top of that you have a story that tries to be good but isn't.
Gameplay was enjoyable.
Story was a fucking catastrophe.
It's basically The Last Jedi of Metroid. Some really cool ideas, but the execution isn't just bad, it's downright fucking offensive.
In Metroid prime, why are the ghosts of her Chozo family ATTACKING Samus?
They got dragged out of their ascended existence by the Phazon and driven insane. It's strong shit.
It basically killed the series for about 6 years.
guys I might not beat this game, just like I might not ever beat Echoes , so what is the thing in OP's image?
>what is the thing in OP's image?
Baby Ridley, yet somehow it grows wings, commands pirate crews, and can speak human languages as seen in Manga, yet it’s a baby Gremling
I think ts a reference to these guys
. . . Who turn into this after replacing Godzilla in the timeline (but he hits a nuclear sub instead and grows bigger, instead of being eliminated from the timeline)
>Ridley is an intelligent being who leads a civilization capable of advanced TUUUUBE research
>He just chooses to act like a wild animal because he's a fucking psycho
kind of creepy desu
>Furby to xenomorph lizard to space pterodactyl
Aliens are weird
This is Samus’s 8th time dealing with Ridley, so why now does she have a PTSD episode, when previously she would start shooting him in the face?
Wouldn’t that make more sense if this was her first reencounter since K2L?
Why did Sakamoto forget to reference the K2L incident earlier in the game, so the scene can at least have some actual impact?
Wait so the game forces you to die multiple times
They're down feathers.
Who wouldn't act like a psycho when you are an awesome strong lizard
metroid.fandom.com
Why the fucking fuck are there Space Pirate Sympathizers?
>The only game where Ridley is shown to be capable of giving orders
>It's shit
Sakamoto said that the Prime series is non-canon to Other M, but here Nintendo is making more Metroid Prime games. By that statement he more or less de-canonized his own game.
HOLY SHIT
WHY IS BABY SAMUS SO CUTE
hippies
>play against Samus
>put this song on
>How does a newborn flesh eating parasite become morally attached to a human?
In nature, when an animal is born, it inmediately associates the first animal they see as their mother/father. Metroids are no exception
>How did it know to fight off a giant brain computer?
Metroids usually go for the head when hunting their prey
>Why does the brain computer grow legs and teeth?
It has always had them, they were just hidden
But why would a computer need limbs?
To move.
>Why not transfer itself
Data has size. Computer systems capable of containing all its data are extremely rare and unlikely to be connected to any open network allowing transmission.

because a space dragon hadn't eaten her parents yet
Are you a fucking bigot or something? The space pirates are just practicing their own rich and unique culture. It's not their fault you're too small minded to appreciate the diversity in the cosmos!
Manga did the whiny emotional bitch Samus better. Her having freakouts and breakdowns is way more sensible when it's her first rodeo.
What about the Kriken Empire who culturally take over planets as a form of puberty?
FUCK YOU
>Why are they called pirates
japanese writers are hacks and I honestly beleive majority of japanese people go trough life in a sort of haze, never really thinking about stuff outside purely mechanical.
>Why is Samus a bounty hunter if there’s no “catching criminals” mission in any of the games?
Again like the previous answer but also because it's a "cool foreign concept" that they quite don't understand. I mean honestly try to place yourself in the boots of a japanese man, heavily bound by concepts of indentured servitude to the state and then tell them about a non-state person going out to hunt criminals or even imply criminals exist in your society in such a capacity that the great state cannot catch them. It's impossible, it's fussy.
>How does a space dragon start out as a bunny, and learn to speak fluent languages?
It's an ay lmao who the fuck knows?
