sony hasnt made a good phone since 05

lack of sony's support and any attempt to make it anything but a gimmick, just like the vita
it was a godlike emulation device

It's a Sony handheld, what do you think even could go right?

From what I've heard it was crap as a phone. Also Sony didn't bothered to support it much, like they did with PS Vita. Which is a shame, cuz I would love a decent smartphone of that kind.

Handhelds are basically pacifiers for kids too old for the actual ones and still too young to own their own TVs and consoles that cost a lot more than a handheld that they can play on the floor in the living room. The playstation audience was always 12+.

>The playstation audience was always 12+
And what's Playstation current audience? Millennials that want to be treated like kids by banning/censoring mature games?

Used it to play through chrono trigger and FF7 since Imissed out on them, it was really nice for that

Yes? For once PlayStation grew up with its audience.

The fuck?
You querio

decent handheld, crappy phone
kinda the inverse Ngage

Psvita would have been a better phone if it had 4g support.

I'm mad. These threads make me mad.

>vita
>4g
Why not 5g to really be ahead of its time?

Hmm yes I agree fellow user

Don't you see it though? That guy clearly doesn't fit the Playstation ethos and that's why the PSP was never a right fit for the brand.

It's because snoy insulted their real fanbase and their portables never recovered afterwards.

Wish they made it again but with modern hardware, I use my phone for emulation more than anything else so it'd be great to have built in actual buttons

Thhey were already selling psp right? It neither appealed to gaymers or non gaymers

Companies at theat time weren't just looking for a good selling product, they were probing which would be the next "thing"

It was perfectly good as a phone, and what it lacked in Sony's support it made up in community support. It literally had special emulator branches made specifically for it, including almost full-speed N64 when most phones struggled with SNES.
