this is the ideal situation, valve guy said he didnt know if they were gonna release an SDK with the new VR game but the way he said it implied they were fine with doing it. I dont tihnk gary will ever make GMOD2 though

there is no point in modding shit anymore when its much easier just to make your own game and not have to deal with limitations of the game you are trying to mod, the only thing i can see coming from source 2 are ports of various games including half life 2 + its episodes
