WE ARE REAL MUSICIANS
WE ARE REAL MUSICIANS
WE ARE REAL MUSCIANS
YUES I AM MAD FUCK
>REAL MUSICIANS
what does that even mean nowadays?
Has it ever meant anything other than an ability to play at least one musical instrument? It's like the musical equivalent of calling someone a gamer.
before the internet as we know, it meant you had industry backing so people outside of your social circle knew about you.
Now, it only matters to "real artists" circlejerks who like to pretend gatekeepers still matter.

>WHY ARE VIDEO GAME COMPOSERS TREATED AS A JOKE
because publishers can just go bulk buy some soulless trailer music from apm or extreme instead lol
>it meant you had industry backing so people outside of your social circle knew about you
I'm pretty sure that's not true. I've seen plenty of old films (I'm talking like 50-90 year old films, not 20 year old films) where characters describe themselves as being "a musician" and it means nothing more than their ability to play an instrument. Musician seems to be much closer to hobby than profession.
>Blows thread away.
Step aside, losers.
I like Mick, he seems to have passion for what he does and he's very versatile.
