Why does it make Yea Forums so upset? The only thing I'd change about the artstyle is the blurring at the top and bottom of the screen outdoors. Even then you adjust to it after 5 minutes.

It's sixty dollars and their moms already got Astral Chain so no more vidya until Luigi's castle

I've been playing this game obsessively for the past day. I don't remember the original having this much stuff to do.

>inconsistent framerate
>soundtrack varies between good and grating
>$60 when any other remake would be priced for less and (usually) come with more content
The artstyle is fine on its own but they should've done something closer to the LADX photographs rather than plastic miniatures

Same, I really think it was the limited visuals that made the adventure seem smaller. If the frame rate were perfect 60 I'd probably beat this five times.

Maximum soul

>Please, Link. Don't wake up. I'm not ready. I don't want to fade yet.

>Link risks his ass waking the Wind Fish from eternal slumber
>Kills Marin
>Wind Fish doesn't even say thanks, just leaves Link in the middle of the sea with no provisions when he could have given him a lift back to dry land
Should have just stayed in the dream world with his new girlfriend, better than starving/drowning at sea

The official timeline puts the Oracle games after LA, which feature the same Link. Presumably they did it that way specifically to avoid the implication that Link drowned after LA.

good bread op im sure you were hoping to get the bees going

Doesn't that make zero sense then?
Considering at the end of the linked ending for the Oracles Link sets out on the same boat that's destroyed in the opening of LA.

They changed it very recently, last year I think. Even though I think the idea of a timeline is dumb in general I'm guessing they just did it that way so that they could sell the Oracle remakes as sequels to Awakening.
Yeah it goes against the original intention for sure. Maybe they'll leave that out or have him wash ashore at the beginning of Oracle, who knows.

I'm just waiting for the seething, coping, and dilating when Sword and Shield outsell both of them.

Based buychad

Yeah it’s dumb, and they specifically said they changed the order to avoid said implication of link dying at sea. But the new order makes sense too. He makes his way to either oracle games land, whether by drifting there or after any unknown events, then at the end of the adventure, the citizens reward him with a new boat designed after the one he lost. Again... stupid? Yes. But confusing? No... just stupid to even bother changing it

i just don't get why it's such a big deal. why do you care so much, why does everyone care so much? isn't it pretty much just the original game with a new look?

The framerate thing is even shittier than I thought and VERY noticeable, but apart from that the game overall is amazing. Something about it makes it addicting: I think it's the sound effects, they're really satisfying like an ASMR video.

also the OST is 10/10

A remake of the oracle games’d Be nice, maybe not in this art-style though

The only character I'd be nervous about is Veran
Overall I like this style

I would only get it if they included the third story that was supposed to happen, but didn't happen because the developers felt it would make the story too complex, on the original games.

>Zelda sold well

NO WAY! :O

They did that because they were recycling ideas, we ended up with two great ones instead of three watered down muddles
