Jesus Christ, I’m on the ship boss and I’m already stuck. 10th attempt. Souls game seem easy compared to this shit.

Learn to use two alternating elements ro apply confuse and the whole game becomes ez mode
Alternatively, kunai
What do you mean
B L O C K
>blocking against a giant fucking steel ball
yep
seriously getting good at this game doesn't make the game look any smoother? it still takes an obnoxiously long time to kill any boss and it requires tedium to do so.
It's not a souls game, blocking actually works
>takes a long time to kill a boss
I havent played since release, but couldn't you with the right setup insta kill most bosses on WOTN?
Switch Stances in multiple situations.
The game is only as hard as you make it. If you use a cheese build, you'll 1-3 shot every boss. If you play it "fair" the game is extremely difficult. Anything beyond Way of the Strong pretty mucb requires cheese due to how retarded the scaling is though.
The combat sucks ass in this game, you shouldn't bother anymore
can faggots like beat any game without cheesing? Learn to get good instead.
Where did you get filtered out?
Uhm I didn't, I was halfway through the game and just stopped cuz I realized how badly it's designed
Play online and get the thunder big sword and thunder heavy armor, proceed to faceroll while getting higher level same armor/weapon every so often
Ignore most of what's probably been said and forget the Souls series general strategies. You played the tutorial and learned about two things called Ki Pulse and stances. I want you to run back to the start of the level and make your way through every enemy while actively using these two mechanics every step of the way. Think about each thing they allow you to do in turn and what they do to the things you already learned from the prologue. Realize that you can use the things you think you know, like moving, attacking, dodging and blocking, in many different ways that you may not be considering, so try them all out in all situations. Take your time, take it step by step, but take those steps somewhere you don't know instead of just through the game, and don't stop walking.
just fucking watch the boss and pay attention to his animations. focus on dodging his moves. understand this and you've mastered about 40% of the game
>using tools at your disposal
>cheesing
do you think debuffs are cheesing too faggot?
I love fighting Onryoki
So it was umi bozu, i see.
ignore the fags suggesting you to block. blocking is actually good in nioh but not so much against big bosses like this.
just dodge the attacks and go on the offense between his movements.
Obviously, tranny. Try to get good instead. Can you beat bosses without buffs and debuffs? If not, you are bad at the game. I swear, i wouldnt be surprised you also level farmed 2 hours before every boss.
t. got filtered at either Hino-Enma or Umi Bozu
Blocking works even on big guys, not only do they have moves easier dealt with blocking but they have a higher percentage of slower moves letting you recover from being guard broken before they hit you. The only way he can properly feel out blocking is by actually trying to block things no matter how they appear. Agility is also a factor, but regardless blocking, dodging and dashing should all see common use.
FREED FROM THIS MORTAL COIL
Funny that you mention umibozu cuz I dropped the game right after beating him
The game is a chore to play, that's it
Based retard poster!
I was getting fucked as well in the beggining. Keep pushing, you will get the rhythm of the game soon.
>Hino-Enma
I'm so glad I spent hours on getting past this chick
You should light all 3 braziers and use them in fight
and why is that?
Really enjoyed the game, but only enough for one playthrough. Not a fan of replaying the same content a ton of times through just to get the same equipment with better stats. Would've been nice if there was a bunch of equipment/weapons that were exclusive to way of the strong and the other difficulties, or even like one extra boss to work towards.
Nioh is just broken hitboxes fest.
Way of the Strong adds a few enemies to places, makes bosses generally start in their powered up phases and an accessory starts appearing that reduces set bonus requirements, and Demon also changes some enemies into red versions with innate buffs, but Wise changes up enemy layouts entirely, adds a new rarity with several new set bonuse as well as adding new available effects for equipment and gives some enemies and bosses new moves. If that seems like enough for you, then as someone that did them all, I would recommend skipping Strong outside of any rewards you want and continuing from Demon onwards.
