>always
Sometimes they're neutral/good tho

Dragons are iconic antagonistic creatures that represent that which men hate and must destroy in order to better oneself. Dragons should always strictly be evil or at least neutral mindless creatures that only exist to destroy or as an apex predator.

Any changes to this tried and true formula just results in cringe. The only people who like that shit are furfags.

>first sentence
Agreed.

>the rest
lol fuck off autist.

why do fangirls like dragon and lizardman cock so much

Because in western mythologies, they are fire-breathing monstrosities and portents of destruction. Consider that one of the most iconic western myth heroes, Beowulf, meet his end due to dragonbreath.

Grigori.

Fag

universal impersonators

>Still no 34 of this
It's incredible, really

Variety is a spice of life

Because they make for cool enemies, and typically people want something anthropomorphic as an MC to relate with.

And even then exceptions occur like Panzer Dragoon. And then there's straight cartoonism like Spyro.

this is true, furfags and scalies must be fucking purged, not pandered to
best dragon is chaotic neutral

>must destroy in order to better oneself
If you don't destroy Grigori then you can't better yourself by becoming the Senechal.
Sacrificing your Beloved leaves you an ageless, heartless, mentally unstable creature.
Dying while fighting Grigori results in Grigori going off to fuck with the next Arisen
Hating Grigori is reasonable considering the only reason he is a dragon is because he is a weak bitch. I mean what a LOSER!

They're not always bad guys or girls

dying to grigori causes you to turn into the next grigori fag

Because it's far easier to point to someone/thing's faults and shortcomings than praise them for the good works. just like the real church

Dying facing the Senechal turns you into the dragon. Dying facing the dragon just results in death.

Dying to Grigori doesn't make you the next dragon.
Dying to the Seneschal makes you the next dragon, this means Grigori defeated his dragon but couldn't beat god.

>If you don't destroy Grigori then you can't better yourself by becoming the Senechal.
You are forgetting that Grigori actually encourages you and wants you to defeat him and succeed where he failed against Seneschal.

>Grigori actually encourages you
>You would face me, then? Tis a fool's choice, Arisen.
Get your shit straight.

that's saying he thinks you are not strong enough to kill him yet.

"Show me your power, Arisen. Awaken now in full! Still my heart and lay open the path beyond."
"Aye, raise your weapon... Your teeth of steel, your blood-red voice... Show me your power, Arisen! Prove yourself worthy of what lies beyond my corpse! Show that you possess the strength to still my heart. The will to do it. The soul!"
Surpass me, if you would truly be the one to take up the endless chain."
"Yes... I remember now. This sensation, this pain... I know it well. The hurt you visit upon me is the selfsame pain I once inflicted! This battle is mine, just as it is yours. It is aught I began long ago."

"A false hope, fallen short..." (when you die to him)

"Arisen... You have earned back what is yours! Your life belongs now to no other. You've won it by rights... It is yours to use or cast away as you see fit. Remember that..." (when you kill him)

Grigori is a bro that just wants someone to surpass him. He never wanted to be the dragon. He's proud of you when you kill him and saddened if you fail because he has faith that you will succeed where he failed.

Missionary work didn't pan out so well in Japan.

Why does this look like an upcoming porn scene

All Arisen are chosen due to their enduring will. Grigori didn't get the full understanding of the eternal cycle though.
Given what we understand of the cycle and of the Arisen, not only would Grigori be pleased to see people willing themselves to greatness on the principle that it is the very essence of his being just as it is yours but upon his death he returns to the cycle and, given enough time, will retake the mantle of arisen and attempt to escape the cycle anew.
Daimon is the real G tho.
>given the power of a dragon because FUCK the cycle, fuck the RIFT and FUCK ARISEN PEOPLE
>is not only incredibly powerful and beyond the reach of any one senechal but his fuckery somehow crosses the rift, which as shown by the Ur, is an entirely different domain with its own rules and principles
What a character.
