>Dark Elves everywhere
almost

Fuck off outlander

>Under sun and sky, outlander, we greet you warmly.

the telvanni mushroom fortress is the best player home of any game

We're watching you, Scum.

Quickly outlander, i haven't much time.

ive tried and failed to get into this game like 10 times. the art direction and lore is god tier but the graphics, movement, and combat are atrocious

don't worry about it user, the moment has passed

Yes, unfortunately the game has not aged well. Its datedness is hard to overcome if you've never played it before. If only you were a teenager when it came out buddy.

play it like 3D dnd, you ever see that game in action? ever play kotor? neverwinter nights?

>says game hasn't aged well
>best game in the elder scrolls series
what are you? an elder scrolls beta cuck?

Morrowind is like a vacation in Mexico, in that it's mostly comfy and nice, but there are some places you just don't go unless you want to get murdered

No.
It is a bland world with lifeless NPCs.
It is the anti comfy.

Hey man, don't get me wrong. Morrowind is by far my favorite game in the series. But you have to admit the gameplay can be dull and the graphics are terrible. I can't blame people who are under 20 for not being in to it.

It's ok

>i dont like things that are mainstream
Well done, you hipster asshole. At least you can claim you're cooler than everyone else. I hope someday you find a better source for your self-esteem.

Agreed but the Hlaalu stronghold was the easiest one to get to.

Because you don't switch to Morrowind right after playing modern games. Play a couple of old classics like Enclave or Arx Fatalis or maybe even Oblivion and then get into it. It's gonna be much easier.

It hasn't aged well for any zoomers trying to play it in 2019 when they're used to Skyrim

Purge the Outlander Nerevar!

Morrowind mainstream? Morrowind hasn't been relevant for over a decade.
Did you just come out of a coma gramps?

>implying Morrowind isn't mainstream on Yea Forums, that there isn't a Morrowind nostalgia thread posted every day

I wouldn't say comfiest
But it's pretty damn comfy

It is definitely not mainstream. Smash, Dark Souls, MGS, whatever console garbage Yea Forums is playing - that's mainstream. 2.5 anons reposting the same thing is not mainstream. You are delusional.

Nah that's Skyrim.

You have to be an old jaded man to enjoy Morrowind while at the same time ignoring the fact that it was a severe downgrade from Daggerfall. It's a meme game.

I played morrowind for the first time 5 years ago. It was just as 'outdated' then as it is now. Get gud.

>It isn't nostalgia I just started this week and OMG I had no idea gaming could be like this.
Every thread.

Morrowind is my favorite elder scrolls game, but how "comfy" something is can differ from how "good" it is.
Morrowind is, in my opinion, the least comfy modern TES. The environments are bleak, the map is huge and makes you feel tiny, quests don't hold you hand with giant floating markers, you can easily wander into an area with very powerful enemies, there are tons of spells and armor and stats to manage, etc.
By comparison, I would say Oblivion is peak elder scrolls comfy.

Least comfy correct
Bleak correct
Map is huge incorrect it is the tiniest map in any TES game.
Quests don't hold your hand correct. Good luck with those escort quests.
Can wander into dangerous areas. Partially correct. Once you hit level 20 there is no dangerous areas any more. Far sooner if you meta game.
Tons of... Correct. Yay spread sheets

Overall you are correct Morrowind is the worst TES game ever.

Played Morrowind for the first time a year or so ago. Played a Dark Elf mage-type and enjoyed the game a whole lot. I only used QoL mods and mods to get rid of bugs and play it in a higher resolution. The only part of the game I disliked was the part of the main quest where the tribes force you to do quests for the Houses.

I love the quest where you scam one of the tribes chiefs by giving him some low level cheap prostitute slave insted of quality telvani pussy.

>uguu~

every elder scrolls suffers being made more accessible and casual
Morrowind has the best story and twists on common fantasy tropes in the series
you have to be a young jaded cuck to not enjoy it
you can find comfort in any game if you seek it out
>Morrowind is the worst TES game ever
this is a stupid statement when arena exists, it and it's completely flat terrain and all
lol that's one of the more humorous quests, though it is a slave you purchased..

I want to get into morrowind, but skyrim tainted me, I love skyrim, where do I start?

it's fun

not him but I started playing morrowind after finishing yakuza kiwami 2 .... yeah
made good progress too, just met vivec but then I stopped playing

yes

Oblivion still the comfiest

I first tried to get into it in 2005, when it was still fresh. The game is just shit.

no your opinion is shit, this is one of the greatest games ever made
you lack appreciation for one of the finest rpgs of past generations
you probably like skyrim because it abandoned a great deal of elder scrolls unique identity to appeal to a more casual audience; like gee wiz when I swing it actually connects just like the animation
you are why we can have nice things anymore, why each game looks more skills and weapon variety, why all the quests look the same, and the world is generic af
you probably mod the everlivingshit out of Skyrim to enjoy it, yet have never considered giving mods a go with this epic title

>fargoth achieves chim

I loved the idea and had a good laugh
I hated doing the quest because of how shit Morrowind's pathing ai is and how common she would just swim into a rock
