Who the fuck thought this was a good idea?
Who the fuck thought this was a good idea?
?
snoys are so used to one game a year they can't understand the switch having so many games
I'm so sick of hearing about Link's Awakening
Imagine complaining about having new games to play.
>its a Nintendo thread
>BUT SONY
Stfu underage
>MFW Switch games cost $80 in Canada
They really should have spaced out their games. There was a huge drought for the first half of the year and now they have big releases coming out back to back.
>he fell for the job meme and doesn't have the freedom to play games 24/7 and finish every game in a day or two
lmaoing at you
80 canadian dollars are 60 american dollars.
>DQ11 comes out next week too
Holy fuck I need more time for games.
Am I the only one who sees goatse in the middle image?
Holiday sales
I think it worked out great.
>3/10 lazy remake at full price
>platinum cinematic experience with zero gameplay
>leaves me with the obvious choice of buying Daemon X Machina
Couldn't have worked out any better.
Apparently those are 5 hours each. I'll wait for a sale
That only applies to Links Awakening.
Astral Chain just by itself is about 50+ hours if you're a completionist, dunno about DMX though.
I guess they wanted lots of games releasing close to the Lite launch.
None of those threee are big releases
You can add DQ11 to that, it's coming out in a few days.
Pretty sure a lot of devs were trying to avoid being overshadowed by Pokemon
Don't forget Ring Fit and Luigi's Mansion and Pokemon.
Astral Chain's a good 18-22~ hour playthrough, can be less if you know what to do and skip unnecessary stuff and more if you revisit files and/or do the postgame stuff (Which is mostly just combat). I think it's overall a pretty solid game, though the first hour or two might deter a lot of people.
Out of curiosity, what's coming after this? There's Luigi's Mansion 3 on October 31st, then Sword/Shield on Nov. 15. But, yeah. They probably could've spaced things a tiny bit better. There wasn't much of anything until Fire Emblem hit.
DXM varies, depending if you want to go for completion/collection/multiplayer. If your only gauge on playtime is sperging your way through the minimum main story missions, I've heard people clocking around 15 hours.
you can always play it later user, you dont have to play everything as soon as it releases
...please don't give me another fetish.
What do you mean?
All of them sold well
I agree that it's not a good idea making switch games but those are first party so what are they gonna do about it?
>Game boy game
>Rip off mech game
>not bayonetta
Oh no. Fuck off nintenlet
I know it's been a rough few years with the wii u but surely you understand third parties set their release dates independent of nintendo.
>literally buying video games
lmfao
There's DQ11 in like 5 days, a little after that there's the much vaunted Switcher, then Luigi's Mansion, then Pokemon, then Doom, then Town. Panzer Dragoon is supposed to come out sometime this year too but we haven't heard anything.
>Funko Pop game and 2 anime games!!
>tfw too busy with Classic WoW to finish AC and move onto DxM or Zelda
>games
Gamefly sent me both Zelda and chain for one dollar this month. Feels good
>platinum cinematic experience with zero gameplay
You don't really understand how Platinum games work, huh?
How did you only pay a dollar? Was there some kind of deal?
>unironic wojak
>muh animu games
>Contra and Dragon Quest XI S next week
Welp
Video games... on a video game console... I don't understand...
Quality over quantity, faggot.
Bloodborne is 4 years old and still being talked about.
Yoshi's Crafted World came out only a few months back and it's already forgotten, along with Mario + Rabbids, Fire Emblem Warriors, Mario Maker 2, Tetris 99, Arms, Snipperclips, Cadence of Hyrule, and Kirby Star Allies. Only reason I remember them is because I searched "best switch exclusives" and that's what came up.
>Quality over quantity
That isn't how successful platforms work, user. N64 titles get a lot more discussion that PS1 titles do nowadaysand back then and that doesn't mean a damn thing.
DxM is the only good game
>People still talk about bloodborne
Yeah, because that's literally the only game PS4 has that's worth mentioning when it comes to PS4 exclusives. All the other shit is just movies which is why nobody talks about them because this is a video game board.
Astral sold out in like a week and still hasnt restock. On the other side i got to buy DXM and im liking in a lot
So why can't I discard platinum games like Astral Chain for the same reason? When you go into a thread discussing the game, there's nothing but console warring and waifushit and lore discussion, like this was a damn visual novel. Your definition of a "movie" is so biased and drenched in console warring that it's not even funny.
