Steam doesn't allow porn games anymo-
fuck off
Aw shucks guess I got trolled
Doesn't matter if I'm being trolled, the problem isn't that they took Asagi's game down.
The problem is that they took Asagi's game down after they already said Asagi's game would be on steam. This shows that Valve's hierarchy is incompetent and that the left hand of valve doesn't know what the right hand is doing at all.
When Lilith requested their game on steam, Valve was given two options: Yes or no.
Yes would have allowed the game on steam, and we would've been able to play it. Everyone's happy, and we might've seen a surge of more of that type of stuff come to steam later.
No would have immediately denied Lilith. Lilith probably wouldn't be happy, but they also probably wouldn't care. Steam consumers would remain blissfully ignorant.
Valve chose both, though. People at Lilith thought their game was coming to steam, and they even started translation work on it. That work's gone to waste, and it's natural that they probably don't want to have anything to do with steam anymore. Lilith talks to other companies, and the word spreads. "Avoid valve, they're a bunch of flip-floppy douchebags." Consumers are pissed because they were told something would be there which wasn't there. They now know that Valve can't make up its mind and that they're incompetent.
Valve looks bad. Consumers are pissed. Developers avoid steam. Valve chose the worst case scenario, and they're retarded for that. It might not be anything right now (lol porn game whatever) but it holds a higher meaning in the long run.
2D WOMEN NEED HUMAN RIGHTS
>Avoid valve, they're a bunch of flip-floppy douchebags
Nobody is saying this, after how well koikatsu sold every faggot with a HVN is rushing to out it on steam. I'm sure we'll get an advertiser friendly tianmnen in a few months with the school outfits removed.
It's just a pet game, it's your fault for thinking lewd things.
Miel is the bargain trashy nukige that's impossible for anyone with a three digit IQ to fap to
Norn is for patricians and intellectuals who can find the appeal in a $5 shallow love story with nice scenes to rub one out to
Guess we'll see. But there might be developers who don't want to work on games that have a 50/50 chance of being disapproved for one reason or another. If it's not school outfits it'll be something else.
>>Steam doesn't allow porn games anymo-
No, that just applies to games with lewd depictions of underage gir... wait, what's this?
What game?
No, it's literally just highs school outfits, that's the issue that every game's had so far. You can't have loli characters but you can't imply they're actually underage.
?
>What game?
No way, fag. You're just going to report it.
>not recognizing the artwork
I hope you're right and they just do some shitty edit of beginning-sakura or something that can be patched out or ignored. At the same time, I still think Valve's stupid for allowing the game on the store and saying it'd come out normally before backpedaling. They should've gotten this done beforehand.
andale wey carajo weon
Remember when images like these were just meme photoshops?
Where did everything go so wrong? What bizarre timeline are we in?
Im spanish, not mexican.
same shit tacoman
>weon
>mexican
Not like it's the first time it's happened too. They've been fucking with Mangagamer almost since day 1, look at how they allowed Kara no Shoujo 1 on but disallowed Kara no Shoujo 2, even though KnS1 is far more objectionable in every way imaginable. Or how Valve took down Maidens of Michael for mysterious reasons but GoG allowed it.
Of all the things "special food" could be alluding to, it looks like regular dog food. :(

Anyone can set up a store page by paying $100. But they need Valve approval to sell.
By the way, wasn't asagi banned? As in they can't come back kind of banned?
Evenicle
yeah, valve does not do appeals, have guidelines to follow or feel the need to properly explain their reasoning for any given ban.
Damn. Guess that means Asagi's not coming back.
Link to download this game?
>implying this isn't exactly what Steam wanted
They can't come right out and ban those games, especially if they're going to allow indie fag simulators from the clique on there. They want to appear pro-consumer, and pro-freedom of speech, but actually being so will get them shit on by everybody with an internet megaphone right at a time when they're already getting shit on by everyone drawing a paycheck from Tencent Tim and his Fortnite bank account.
So the answer is... do both, and neither. Provide examples to the contrary that people can point to if they want to defend Steam, and meanwhile make publishing on the platform such a gamble that most people don't even want to put those kinds of games on the platform. The less "problematic" games being put up there voluntarily, the less Valve looks like an outright censorious dick. Just inconsistent. In the end, everyone is somewhat happy. You do get some lewd games on the platform, indies get to peddle their fag dating sims, and valve gets to avoid the responsibility of taking a hard stance and defending it.
I never got to appeal of games like this. I'm brazilian so I can just pick up slutty 13yos from the street.
