for me my body gets kinda tingly and my stress goes away. I usually just end up listening to music while high anyway. I have a high tolerance so i will workout high sometimes too it just really depends on the mood im in.

I've smoked so much in the past couple of years that I have to wait weeks in between sessions to feel a good high. So I replaced it with alcohol and now my tolerance for that is rising too. I miss being able to smoke a fat mole and get that crazy headrush and high afterward.

Just take a break and limit yourself to a hit or two a day, at night
