Why did Fallout 3 have such bad DLC? Especially compared to New Vegas?
Why did Fallout 3 have such bad DLC? Especially compared to New Vegas?
Cuz Bethesda
i thought operation anchorage was FUN for the first time or so, pitt's still pretty good.
rest i havent played
Because Fallout 3 itself is bad.
The Pitt is unironically better than every single NV DLC.
PL>BS>Pitt>OA>>>>>>MZ
I don't even dislike MZ for the retarded lore, it's genuinely unfun with how much health the aliens have. PL had the same problem but at least the setting was actually nice.
Bethesda have a record of creating DLCs that are better than their main games.
Mothership was the only shitty one, Operation was a close second but getting the infinite HP items saved it IMO
better than new vegas easily
boring canyons or casino with gas mask faggots
I've noticed that too, Far Harbor especially sticks out in my mind. I suspect there's a corporate mandate that the main game must be as mainstream and accessible as humanly possible, while they are given more freedom in designing DLC.
NV had Dead Money. It automatically loses the DLC battle.
Point Lookout and The Pitt are better than any NV DLC
Far Harbor was fantastic, but then Nuka World happened.
I hated Dead Money when it first came out but I just replayed it along with the rest of NV last year and it was a lot of fun
Shivering Isles
You are just a faggot that got brainwashed with all the memes.
Also, "Dead Money" doesn't make any sense because how can money be dead if you was never alive to begin with?
Fucking retarded.
>anchorage
cool war setting in snow and sweet loot by the end
>the pitt
the weakest of the pack, just ugly and no fun
>broken steel
more killan and levels, solid dlc
>zeta
ayy lmao fun times
>point lookout
max comfy
From reading your post, I get the sense that you are a superficial retard.
Get outta here, retard. We hate you here.
It made up for it by having a somewhat engaging plot for the main game
Meanwhile I had more fun playing through the DLC of NV than NV's main plot
Pitt, Broken Steel, and Point Lookout are all pretty good.
Sneaking around Point Lookout in my Stealth Armor and hiding from the cannibals are some of my fondest memories of Fallout 3.
Because Emil and Pete Hines, and Bethesda nepotism
Far Harbor proved the farther you remove writing away from Emil the better it becomes
Nuka World feels like a last minute attempt at fixing the complete lack of a full asshole option.
The most memorable part of Fallout 3 was during a conversation with a paladin during the Broken Steel questline.
I asked to be payed, then he gave me an awkward answer. I felt bad and said it was a joke, then he replied with another awkward answer. I felt genuine awkwardness.
Probably the immersive part of Fallout 3.
fallout 3 DLC is awesome! the worst DLC ever was from fallout 4
