Unfortunately though, some of the artists and animators left the HotS team and went to Riot to work on League or whatever else.

GTAO. Ever since the casino update dropped I haven't left my new penthouse suite. I've been taking the house over the coals and paying for the new car each week with free casino bucks. The new cars from the last 3 latest updates have been extremely on point, not only are the designs and models much nicer than older DLC cars, but I find them much more unique to drive as well. Especially loving the modern super cars and the vintage shitboxes based on old bimmers and Volvos, their the best drifting cars in the game now even though the driving mechanics don't really allow for drifting because no fun allowed. Add a drift build for all cars R*, FFS, I don't care if you charge an exorbitant fee for either. Just add that shit nigga..

Conan Exiles is pretty fun, I've had a lot of fun exploring the map and building castles.
The locations are very well done, though it could have some more variation in the NPC department

The way they have managed to weave the gameplay and the narrative together, how every gameplay mechanics feeds into the story progression, how great they are in creating tension and investment: and all of that on a fucking shoestring budget on top of that:

It's basically OTTD except the simulation isn't trash. The graphics are a lot weaker, and there are less options and mods, but the fact it has proper supply and demand and passengers with proper end destination make it miles ahead of OTTD. Not to mention the proper Line management. Oh my god how I fucking love the actual line management.
The only thing I really miss (beyond better sprite art) is chose-your-path signals, which makes doing stackers easily, which is a shame.

Let me tell you why Pokemon Gen V is the best.

Sound design - Each trainer type has it's own music that plays before battle. Critical health sound has been turned into a hot track. Gym leaders and other special trainers music track changes when they are on their last Pokemon. Overall music is poppin.

Route design - Plenty of options to skip grass to be able to enjoy the game at a pace more suitable to yourself and easy to move back and forth to get rustling grass for other Pokemon or Audino for exp farming.

After having it sit in my library for two years and many unsuccessful attempts to get past White Orchard, Witcher 3 finally clicked with me and I’m now 90 hours into it. Lot of fun. The combat does get old and too easy at a point though. Hoping the expansions add some challenge.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is the game of this generation. You may think it's only GTA: Wild West edition, but that's far from the truth. It is an open world revisionist western epic. The story and dialogue is a neo Sam Peckinpah novel. The survival type mechanics keep one constantly thinking and considering supplies. You can even go as far as to track and hunt break a wild horse, forming a long lasting bond with your steed. Speaking of which, mini games and side quests/actions are as fun as the main storyline itself. You can hunt, fish, search for treasure/items, bounty hunt, or just fuck off into a vast map with diverse biomes. The gunplay gets a little funny sometimes, but it's still enjoyable. All in all, if you have any interest in an open world game full of adventure, action, and plans, it's for you.

The newest game I've played and own is Mario Maker 2 but the game I'm playing right now is my favorite game, Super Mario Sunshine. Tight controls, excellent music and atmosphere, varied locations, fun to use water gimmick that opens up new movement capabilities for Mario and is useful for finding secrets, and overall fun gameplay that keeps me coming back every summer to play it all again.
