Your thoughts on the FGC?
FGC is home to the bro-est black people and the cringest of everyone else.
was phil always that fat?
Woah is that The King of Hate on the left? What's he been up to these days?
Reminder that FGC ≠ E-sports
Reminder that the FGC being poverty is what makes it the FGC
Nah, if you watch his earliest DSP videos he's much thinner.
Also to answer OP, they're mostly good folk with a few bad apples like any big community for a hobby.
>thin Justin
well I'll be fucked.
Getting a little too big online desu.
It's okay.
the images of the guys playing anime fighters in random locations is by far my favorite vidya meme
The worst of any gaming community I have ever been a part of. It is filled to be brim with both autists and unhinged blacks/hispanics screaming like babboons. The last arcade near me was always a shitshow and, like most things, was always ruined by the community.
>mfw no locals near me
fgc seems pretty cool though
> FGC
Extremely concentrated autism.
That died long ago. Too many zoomers now on the scene and too much money from advertisers and developers. The FGC will never be what it used to be. But I don't think it's gone to shit anywhere near as bad as most other communities. Locals and most non-evo/esl events maintain the old spirit for the most part.
Same, but I might be moving to dallas soon so hopefully I'll find some people to play with.
sf5 made it esports with the whole capcom cup thing
> Reminder that FGC ≠ E-sports
I think fightings could get bigger, but these games need more single player content for normal people, sane tutorial, actual story mode etc.
In order to become real es ports they need normal sponsors, and it can only be pc hardware makers.
>too much money
Nigger the fcg pays peanuts you know that right. Most pros can break more than 250 for a year. 3 weeks ago in shanghai there was a dota2 tournament. Total prize pool was 31million. 1st place got 15million usd split 5 ways. Thats only 1 tournament.
memes aside, genuine melty players have my respect for sticking to their game through thick and thin. Through bathrooms and parking lots.
frfr
Can barely break 250k a year.
>be me, retail wagecuck
>work with someone who is the texbook definition of an autist
>cannot have any conversation, even small talk, unless it's about vidya, and specifically fighting games
>will mumble, deliberately not listen, or respond with grumbly "YEAH" or "YEP"s for any discussion that's not about vidya
>won't shut up if the discussion is about vidya - was once timed by another employee and rambled for a solid half hour about BazBlue and Smash
>doesn't understand the concept of TMI, will loudly announce that they have to take a dump over our walkie-talkies
>doesn't know how to interact with children, so they play peek-a-boo with every single infant they see while having this forced grin on their face
>has creeped out multiple customers
