It's probably the same thing that Sony did with the PS3, MS did with the 360, and Nintendo did with the Wii U. Multiple SKUs at launch isn't exactly a novel thing.

And people will still buy a PS5 for Fifa and Call of Duty. Even if those games at on Xbox, but normies don't know that.

Who said anything about one SKU having better specs? All you know, assuming this leak is true, is that there are two versions launching. You're assuming it's a "pro" and you're assuming "pro" means different processing power.

For all you know it's no different than the different PS3 models, which varied in things like HDD size, wifi capability, card slot, and so on.
