What's the best druid build?
What's the best druid build?
>Tauren Druid
Yikes
for what
>druid
Cringe
feral for leveling obviously, paladins and druids are practically hero classes
None.
THe only good thing about druid is the tree form
bump
feral is good until ~30 or 40 where you'd be better off spending points somewhere else. problem with going full feral is that you neglect utility from the other trees which is useful in group content, pvp and larger pulls. feral has better sustained dps 1v1 but you WILL fight multiple mobs at once and you WILL be put into wpvp situations (unless you're a pve crow)
If you're 31 put 11 points into the balance tree and 11 points into resto. pick up nature's grasp and improved grasp to boost druid's already bonkers escape potential. 5 points into natural weapons for global 10% phys dmg and 1 point in omen of clarity. in resto pick up furor, improved healing touch and insect swarm. moonfire, insect swarm, catform, rake and rip sets up so much dot damage that affli locks will be seething. Afterwards pick up natural shapeshifter and improved thorns in balance and continue down resto until you get nature's swiftness. Do this and you'll be useful in cat, bear and normal form instead of doing like 10% more dps in cat from the feral tree.
Recommend me 31/x/x Balance builds
frost mage
Better question: How do i level the worst class in the game without being a total retard having issues reaching lvl 30?
moonkin form is unironically a meme. it gives you no benefit other than armor and 3% spellcrit aura and you sacrifice not only points, but mana going into the form and the inability to cast restoration spells.
if you really wanna do it try something like picture related. spec into natural weapons and omen of clarity then find a slow, high damage staff and use it. here's your rotation in a dungeon setting where you dont have aggro:
moonfire, melee attack, starfire, melee attack repeat until you're oom or the mob is dead. staves deal a respectable amount of damage and with a long swingtimer, you can weave in starfires for maximum damage output while still fishing procs from omen of clarity to try and salvage your mana. points in resto is more for utility (like improved motw, mana regen while casting, furor + improved enrage for quick bearform shenanigans) since you wanted a 31/x/x. i instead recommend investing some of those resto points (like improved HT) into balance and pick up improved thorns and nature's reach. improved starfire sucks because stun is useless and you don't want a lower cast time because you rely on the staff's swingtimer anyways so a lower cast time won't increase your output.
out in the world just play like a shitty priest. frontload your abilities with starfires and entangling roots until they're low health then finish them off with melee attack + thorns (improved hopefully) while you wait for mp5 to activate. should have enough survivability with the bonus armor from moonkin form but if you take a lot of damage just go bear and whittle them down. if you need to heal then do it right before you pull another mob to get the most out of your mp5.
1-10 WRATH WRATH WRATH WRATH
10-20 BEARFORM MAUL MAUL MAUL
at 20 you get catform which makes stuff baby ez. catform for single mobs, bearform for multiple.
at 30/40 you can stay feral like a cuck or do this: either way will be a smooth ride.
druids isn't the best but they are very smooth to level compared to other classes.
thx bro
but can you make 31/x/0 work?
>believed shamans are OP meme back in the day
>now people claim they're bad
At least playing a Tauren shaman is comfy af.
>I know how to level effectively!
>I'll do a Hybrid pvp build!
>Complete with Improved fucking Thorns
Why do people like you actually think wasting talent points is worth it?
Literally grabbing a Wolfshead helm is more effective for farming than that bullshit.
i don't see why you would but you could do
31/20/0. keep balance like my previous image and dump points into feral aggression, thick hide (works for moonkins too), brutal impact & feral charge (for wpvp). 5/5 in feral instincts helps you prowl around for easier quest objectives and 2/2 in feline swiftness is a nice qol when you're prowling. wouldn't recommend speccing into feral though since it heavily relies on you being in either cat or bear and you'll be moonkin or normal form 90% of the time.
The best build is deleting it and playing a useful class.
>wpvp and dungeons aren't part of the leveling experience!
wolfshead + furor lets you powershift shred (though slightly more effort since you gotta pay attention to energy ticks) while costing less mana, more raw damage from natural weapons and free shreds from OoC. improved thorns is incredible for dungeon content and for when you want to pull multiple mobs with bearform.
it does catform slightly worse but it does everything else way better. druids are all about utility and dumping 31 points into catform is just a waste.
Mage or Rogue or Priest
You DO kill horde on sight, don't you?
>It does everything way better
No it really doesn't. You don't AoE farm any better taking redundant skills like Imp Thorns or Insect Swarm while also reducing your single target farming.
PvP BG druids and duel druids are all about utility, but if you're actually wanting to do stuff solo and be useful you 100% need to focus on Feral.
Imp. Thorns is a fucking trap without the 2 Piece from MC.
>imp thorns and insect swarm redundant
>while having less energy cost (doesnt matter with powershifting), bearform survivability, and hotw/leader of the pack not being redundant
OoC, natural weapons, imp thorns and an additional dot you can frontload gives you respectable single target damage without hurting your sustain. i agree that full feral is better for pure single target farming but that's not the reality of leveling. you'd be better off staying flexible and even saving that 1g respec at max level, goyim.
balance/resto is also more fun but that's just personal bias.
thansk for trying to make this work.
it's just sad that some meme builds are just impossible to be played.
they're not impossible at all. just inefficient.
moonkins can work but you won't top any dps meters or win in pvp without a huge amount of effort, but if you find that fun then just go for it.
you don't have to be an optimal speedrunning faggot to play the game. do what u want
how else you're gonna play a druid on horde, bainlet?
Resto, because it's the only viable one at endgame. You can also level up like a warrior by beating mobs with a stick and healing yourself.
>Wasting mana to even cast Insect Swarm when you can use that to shift another time.
If you're farming mobs above 1 or 2 going full Spell power set with hurricane even as full feral is better.
I wonder if these guys just point at 16yr old girls in the crowd and go "YOU, meet me after the show" and then get to bang and breed tons of teen pussy every night while I sit at home and level my Orc warrior...
Probably not, most of them might even be gay.
>horde
>tauren
YIKES
This guy plays a nightelf druid, female, and it's called "qtpie" unironically
Maybe you shouldn't play druid, buddy.
I said WORST class, not druid.
Literally go Heart of the Wild/NS if you want to do anything in the world and still heal. Also make some friends.
Tauren Druids are superior for pvp
Boomkin should just be a bear form that can cast balance spells.
