It's the originator of all the key points later creepypastas would have. What made it good was the fact that it had actual video footage and later on had an ARG. And it had the best ending in creepypasta history.

Literally just recycled Pokemon/Link's Awakening assets, how can anyone find this shit actually scary? The pasta tries to explain it as the game being embedded into those games and taking over like a parasite, but that's just the author trying to justify it.
