I think he’s saying why is banjo bigger than mumbo jumbo, because in banjo kazooie mumbo is bigger than banjo, but in banjo tooie, mumbo is around the same size as banjo, and Mumbos smash bros design is clearly based on his banjo tooie appearance, because the skull covers his full head, while in banjo kazooie, it looked more like a mask, because the back of his head was visible

Their moves perfectly represent them, they are expressive, and more importantly they are fun to play as.

According to BK lore, after Tooie he got fat as fuck but then during Nuts n Bolts' intro he got back in shape.

All that fat was turned into muscle.

I still think his proportions are a bit off in Smash, specifically his eyes.

Grunty turned Mumbo into that form, the skull is actually part of his head.

For whatever reason he decided to keep his new form even after they defeated Gruntilda in the first game.

The manual for banjo kazooie says it’s his actual head because gruntilda turned it like that, and that’s why mumbo hates Grunty and helps you, but in think the reason they decided to make look like that in the first game is because you technically never see mumbo’s back, but in banjo tooie you do

his eyes are fine, you just haven't really seen them in high def because it's all low poly or the trash design you get in nuts n bolts

His model objectively looks liek absolute fucking trash.

A lot of Smash models just look awful and I have no idea how people can defend them, especially with the awful rigging, but this one takes the cake for now.
