They all do look pretty good. But really can 2.5 games make a trinity?

>Cyberpunk's image has to be GCI because the actual graphics are so terrible

One of these will be one of the biggest disappointments in recent memory

Which one Yea Forums?

Remove DS and add Halo Infinite

Come on. Sure they removed a lot of features but 2077 isnt that bad

Has the general normalfag public picked up that FFVII is a part one? Square was obscuring that well for a while.
If a large majority don't know it is a part one then FFVII will definitely be the one to cause the most upset people.

Death Stranding is a wildcard imo. it's gonna be either the biggest disappointment or one of the greatest game ever.
my hype for CP2077 also died down but thats a good thing, my expectations aren't too high.

Holy trinity of movies*

Death Stranding is too much of an I don't know what this is to be a disappointment. I suppose having no clues going in can cause huge imaginative expectations or no expectations to disappoint. Cyberpunk hype has definitely leveled out to have more realistic expectations going in. Final Fantasy though has some huge shoes to fill and reputation to live up to. Nostalgia goggles are a hell of a drug. Final Fantasy is the far most likely to be the biggest disappointment.

Remove Death Stranding and Final Fantasy and you're correct.

Not really, by the looks of other sites discussing it. Considering that the main reason alot of people are so fond of ffvii is the autistic side-missions you could burn hours and days away on, and those don't start until well into the second disc, there will be disappointment. All those people looking forward to bird-fucking simulator are going to be pissed they can't start it up.

Death Stranding is still a mystery, Final Fantasy is threatening to take years to release in full, and cyberpunk seems to change every time they release a new preview. In short, there's no way to know until it happens. My bet's on final fantasy not living up to it's hype, purely based on what people are expecting of it versus what's been shown so far. It feels like a cash-grab to me, and the things shown so far haven't shown me otherwise. But all three have the potential to be pure shit based on the hype they're trying to build.

No it literally is that bad, you literally never get to see your custom character in regular gameplay, they removed so much they resorted to virtual signalling pronouns instead of actually advertising what's still great about the game and they removed any notion of sexiness compared to the original announcements.

Where's this in current promotional material?

Attached: Cyberpunk2077-gameplay-released.jpg (1600x900, 226K)

or this

Aeris

or this? They've removed the RPG/seedy feel of the world in favor of a family friendly experience with a focus on multiplayer to come, probably with micro transactions to hit on the GTA market.

What games are those?

The cancelled RPG version of Cyberpunk 2077 before they made it into a multiplayer action game

>Shit Stranding
>game
kek

>you literally never get to see your custom character in regular gameplay
it's literally not this bad, you lie
>Where's this in current promotional material?
It was never in promotional material, you're posting fan-art.

Observer, The Last Night (cancelled), Shadowrun, I think?

Wait, last night is cancelled? That is a shame.

One of these is not like the other, one of these just won't even be a finished product by the end of the next decade despite being already twenty years old~

>last night is cancelled?
Nah

[Source Needed] These are literally images every news outlet was posting without crediting it as fan art , if you have a evidence to the contrary I'd like to hear it

This is not official art either btw

>These are literally images every news outlet was posting
That's not even true, you found them on Yea Forums

Why did they make her look asian?

It might as well be, the 'legal troubles' haven't been resolved and it's a good chance SJWs were responsible for it

Gone and checked a bit, apparently the game has no more funding because there was some outrage about the setting. Instead of Megacorps running everything, it seems the social left has taken over and therefore everything has become homogenous and people don't really have aspirations anymore. A lot of people took that to heart and cancelled culture'd the game on social media.

Dev is still searching for funding so the game is more on the back burner, for now. I do hope it comes out eventually, because the visuals alone are incredible. I'm really "eh" so far for CP2077 so The Last Night is the only cyberpunk game I'm looking forward too. There was another one but I forgot the name. It also made me discover Lorn

No

Kerbal Space Program 2
Bannerlord
Halo Infinite

This is the holy trinity.

ff7 is midgar only filler with new original content made by nu square so its guaranteed to be shit

The FF7 remake is censored, fuck off.

What's censored?

As far as I can tell the unspecified "legal troubles" are entirely unrelated to the dev being revealed to be a chud months earlier, mostly because you can't see people for that.

I always suspected it was #metoo shit from a possible ex who was SJW and decided she could do her part for the cult with a bit of weaponized rape accusation take-backsies because of suspicious the timing was but we'll never know for sure.

Tifa's outfit and Honey Bee inn is confirmed to be toned down because it was inappropriate, the cross dressing scene and body builders is going to be less of a "joke" as as well. Cloud wearing a dress will still be a joke of course but the people and things you do to collect it will be normalized.

it's the fucking trinity of how you are not supposed to make games

go off and download more smash hentai. the grown ups are speaking.

>to chronic alchoholics
>some generic animu grill
WOW THIS IS THE FUTURE

They could honestly just remove Honey Bee Inn entirely and it wouldn't affect anything in the slightest besides losing some background flavor on Corneo. It was already optional in the original, especially since neither of the 2 undergarments (of 3, but one is dummied out) you could obtain contributed to your score for the crossdressing part, not to mention that it was already massively gutted from what it was supposed to be before release, such that it was already a lacking and content-bare area in the final game.

Just axe it honestly.

It's a remake though. It's a new product. The gameplay is different as well. It's only censorship if they're forced to compromise their vision for this game.

>it's fine to remove optional areas that literally everyone remembers clearly because they are politically sensitive

Make a new game instead of fucking with remakes please pleb

If that was the idea then you and I both know it would've been all over twitter.

Unless they're going to restore Honey Bee Inn to what it was originally before it was gutted they shouldn't bother, because what we got was pretty ass. The only reason people remember it is the gay hot tub scene and the one flashback Cloud can have, other than that it's an utterly forgettable area.

A remake should follow the same vision the original game had not try to update it for 'current year', it's a remake afterall. By avoiding any content they're already compromising the vision of the original game and if you remove something that's politically sensitive of course people are going to presume it's for 'ethical' reasons.

So include the gay hot tub scene and flash back, what's the issue? They're putting the inn there anyway.

yeah, real 4channers like zelda xD

>A remake should follow the same vision the original game had not try to update it for 'current year'
That's exactly the opposite of what a remake should do. It is a remake, after all.

If you want the original, play the original.

We'll just have to disagree then, if you want a different game make different games, don't corrupt original games.

This is no different to marvel creating comic book movies and making half the characters different ethnicities or genders, it's not true to the original, just make a new movie.

>don't corrupt original games
They're not. The original will remain as it is.
>This is no different to marvel creating comic book movies and making half the characters different ethnicities or genders, it's not true to the original, just make a new movie.
They are new movies. The original are comic books.

So in theory you'd be fine if they made Cloud black, kept Aerith alive and made Shinra the good guys? Because this is a remake and doesn't have to adhere to the original in any way other than a loose concept?

Yes.

That's your opinion and you're welcome to it but that's not was a majority of people look for in video game remakes, typically changes to such a degree like in Resident Evil would be seen as a "Reboot" of the franchise and not at all a remake. You're being dishonest if you say otherwise.

No, a reboot would be a fresh start for the franchise. Am I dishonest for knowing what words mean?

I've seen surprisingly little fanfare over Death Stratnding since its announcement.

First search result for video game reboot - "A reboot is a way to reuse the concept behind a game/movie/etc. (backstory, gameplay mechanics, some characters/locations/plotlines) but otherwise rewrite the entire plot and characters."

Exactly what I asked you and what you claimed, you contradicted yourself and made a non-argument, you're done and I'm done with you smoothbrain.

They probably don't know what to think about it.

>Exactly what I asked you and what you claimed
No it's not, you asked me what if they made the same game but redesigned the characters and told the story from a different perspective. I said yeah sure. Then you asked, what if instead they made something else entirely. I said, that's something else entirely. And now you're saying, hah, gotcha, because I think the former is in fact something else entirely.

Well,

I don't.

NEW GAME. Remember this option in Final Fantasy games? That sound effect after you hit the button? I have not felt that specific emotion associated with the Final Fantasy NEW GAME option in a long time now. To me Final Fantasy 7 R is a reminder that Squaresoft is creatively completely bankrupt. It's admitting creative defeat. It seems to me that people are hyped to a testament of failure, to a company that used to produce amazing unique experiences.

It's a new IP and people still don't know much about it.

>plebshit
>holy trinity of gaming

Its pretty obvious that several marketers from a different game company is desperate and eager to destroy CDPR and Cyberpunk with all the spam posts here on Yea Forums, spamming outright lies and half-truths out there.

As for me, I'll wait and see how Cyberpunk will come out. I am sure more excited playing it compared to Borderlands 3.

Death Stranding, Elden Ring, and there's no worthy third. Cyberpunk doesn't cut it.

Fuck you for comparing Doom to generic fps's

Yes, the holy trinity of 40 years of video games is literally 3 2020 games that aren't even out yet.

Except the one everyone else likes for some reason.
