While I am pretty sure I'd prefer the original gameplay. I do wonder what a Soulslike remake of Zelda II would look like.
And I mean Link became quite known for rolling around ever since OoT anyway so it wouldn't even look too out of place.
I guess the biggest thing is that the dungeons actually have platforming segments.
