Crash and MC would be great, Sora would be alright and Geno would be kinda boring Halo was one of the first widely successful console online multiplayer games, it was insanely popular as a franchise and carried the Microsoft systems until the One, it also likely paved the way for many shooters that aspired to take the throne from it. It was a play on the arena shooters so it wasn't entirely original, but if we have shit like Bayonetta, Joker, half of the nintendo characters from dead franchises and many other characters, then "lasting impact on the industry" isn't a requirement for a character.

Geno would be the best. He'd have a pretty fun moveset that is pretty easily translateable into Smash.
His normal attacks would be finger shots, whereas his smash attacks would be more powerful attacks like rocket punches and the star cannon. As for his specials:
Up B - Geno Boost makes the most sense here, though I really like that Project M version of Geno where he launches himself out of a cannon, too. If we're going for a faithul translation, though, Geno Boost makes more sense. If it is Geno Boost, it'd be a pretty simple jump right up into the air that can be activated again at just the right time to double the length of the jump.
Side B - Geno Whirl, of course, but none of that stupid OHKO shit people constantly say he should have.
Neutral B - Geno Beam seems like the best candidate, given it's the first move you get and most characters with charged moves use Neutral B as a default.
Down B - These last two are the hardest ones, but I'd say a very scaled down Geno Blast would make the most sense. Alternatively, Geno Flash would feature Geno blasting out of a cannon and exploding a short distance away.
Final Smash would be either Geno Flash or Geno Blast depending on which one is used for the Down B.
