She's very weak to automatic guns, dance around her with whatever combat discipline you have popped and shoot the fuck out of her.
The problem with melee is that all her attacks stagger like a bitch, so even the nonsense that is Fortitude + Presence makes melee difficult against her, but you could possibly brute force it with the Aggravated sword you get for killing the Sabbat.

Guns are trash until the mid game even if you spec for them, but by the end-game they're insane even if you don't spec for them.
Toreador is probably the best for guns since Auspex increases wits and celerity is just good in general. Ventrue is also good if guns are more of an afterthought because Fortitude makes shootouts a joke with how tanky you are, you can basically just sit out of cover and blow the plebian's heads off.

Ventrue is a great clan to play through the game anyways. Dominate is amazing in both conversation and gameplay, Fortitude makes you invincible, and Presence makes you even more invincible if somehow Fortitude wasn't enough. You'll also have enough money to always afford the best weaponry and armor. Even your clan weakness is great, because it just means you avoid the already garbage blood sources of hookers, rats, and hobos.
Only complaint is that LaCroix is the only NPC that you share a clan with.

Playing through as a Nossie this time, posters here made it sound a lot less forgiving than it actually is. You're fine as long as you don't get within a foot of randoms on the street, and the ones you have to talk to mostly make a comment then brush it off. Kinda wish I had no choice but to use the sewers for more than getting from hub to hub.
The unique dialogue you get from npcs you can talk to is pretty fucking great at least.

They had no time, no money and yet created a game full of soul with a genius writing.
VTMB 2 can never replicate the feeling of being manipulated like a chess piece or the gothic atmosphere of the game.
its just a generic game of vampires.

I'd like to hope too, but I feel it lacks the soul to make up for the jank. Everything I've seen has missed the mark on aesthetic and feel. And the disciplines, the saving grace of VtMB's combat feel far less like the dreadful powers of a Vampire, and more like dime a dozen video game abilities. Though conceptually I love turning into bats or mist to move around, the areas we've seen have only the most tacked on verticality for you to use those abilities with.
I also don't like how you just discard weapons when you're out of ammo. I really enjoyed keeping Jack's peashooter throughout the entire game.

I wish there were more havens you could use, let alone any as nearly as comfy as the first. The highrise was a nice incentive to cosy up to LaCroix at least and the unique clan ones are a neat idea.
I almost want a day/night cycle just to have a reason to return to them, stay at different ones, etc. ALMOST. I'm fine with uninterrupted gameplay too.

This, given enough time modders will fix most issues relating to how the game plays but if what's underneath all that isn't worth it... why bother?

Especially as far as the writing is concerned. We haven't seen jack or shit of the plot, but I'm not optimistic. Depending on how moddable it actually is, there's a chance that there could be a mod that completely changes the lighting and colors to fit a more gothic aesthetic than the Neon and Neutral garbage present currently.
I really, really want to like 2, but I just don't see it being a true sequel without some serious changes from what we've seen currently.
