They're not made exactly to fit an OG Xbox controller but you can put a piece of paper in the hole and they do fit.

Have you tried using a program like joy2key that changes your button inputs to keys on your computer? When I can't programs to recognise my controller I just map the controller to num pad numbers and play like that.

xbox360/one controller are the obvious choice since all games use their button layout and icons ingame.
Dualshock also works but not all games have the proper icons for it in game. So it says press A when you need to press X. Not a big deal t b h
