They pretty much put all of their heavy hitters on it that they could except for Kirby Super Star and the DKC games, what do you want on it that hasn't been slapped into another collection like Mega Man X or Super Castlevania 4?
>No Dragon Warrior 1-4 on NES/Dragon Quest V and VI
>no FF 1-6
>no Chrono Trigger
I fully expect Squenix to port the shit mobile versions though. Please for the love of God Squenix, give us DQIV and V in their PS1/PS2 releases.
all the games said where the ones i was going to mention. The only titles on the SNES version that are worth playing are BoF, Demon's Crest, Super Metroid, and A link to the past.
you missed SMW, Yoshi's Island, and Kirby's Dreamland 3
>no Puyo
Disdain for plebs
>Breath of Fire, Demon's Crest, Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Super Metroid, and A Link to the Past are bad
just give us Chrono Trigger please fuck
Ninja Gaiden and Vice are some of the best NES games you uncultured simpleton
It's gonna be the shit port that's up on Steam and it will be sold for $20.
FF1-6 will also get individual releases based off the shit phone ports and all the games will cost the same as said phone ports.
Dragon Quest will be weird though after 1-3. 4 and 5 have the PS1/2 versions, but they also have their own phone versions, which one can argue are worse since they aren't in 3D.
VI will definitely be the phone version, but VII and VIII have 3DS remakes that surpass the mobile versions. IX is DS exclusive as well.
Besides Mother 1 and 2, can we excpect any more RPGs on NES/SNES online? All the big ones all have remakes that are still on the market.
I could see them putting up another Breath of Fire but that's about it aside from Earthbound, we know SE isn't gonna be letting them put shit on there when they can sell it separately
Not him, but
>Actraiser 1 & 2
>Soul Blazer/Illusion of Gaia/Terranigma
>Panel de Pon
>Axelay
>Sparkster
>Earthbound
>FF Mystic Quest
>Chrono Trigger
>Mario RPG
>Mario's Super Picross
>Wild Guns
>Secret of Evermore
>Vegas Stakes
>Arcana
>Lufia 1 & 2
>Aerobiz
>Pocky & Rocky 1 & 2
>R-Type 3
>Paladin's Quest
>Lost Vikings 1 & 2
>Super Punchout
>Ogre Battle
>Super Turrican
>Super Adventure Island 1 & 2
>Super Bomberman 1 & especially 2 with online play holy fuck
>Rockman & Forte (you know it would be untranslated)
Uniracers would be nice too, but >Pixar
There's a lot of room to grow.
Why the fuck won't they re-release Mario Paint ever again?
id like to be hopeful but with the amount of remaster and people willing to buy any cashgrab a company throws at them I'd expect them to remaster and release the RPG's rather than just giving them to us
Because gaming wasn't good until SNES / Genesis outside of a few games and most of those games are there already.
At least this launched with a better selection than the fucking NES one. I'm surprised they didn't fucking shove in Urban Champions to go along with all the sports trash.
Waiting for N64 service with Smash 64 online in 2020.
What I hope happens
>GB/GBC Online announced in February Direct
>N64 Online announced at E3 2020
>GBA Online at the end of next year
but I'm not counting on this happening
If Nintendo did this they would easily be the best company in the gaming industry. I'd never have a reason to put down my switch. Just give us an actual library of games FFS
I dont think he missed them, i think this is a stupid ass bait thread
I just thought the selection of games could've been better. The sports game are a bad choice
>Implying Brawl Brothers isn't amazing
I feel like they added them for the sake of variety and to pad for other future games that they don't want to release right away so that people can continue to be excited, they're not the best but at least it wasn't like the NES Online launch.
gameboy
You know, I think they know this. They know how valuable their IP's and by extension their older games are. But they don't just want to drop them on there. It needs ceremony and fanfare first. Also the main real reason I think is, they want the Switch to have it's own "identity" first. Before all the older games, they need to push the Switch titles.
How many more "ceremony and fanfare" done we fucking need? They did this trinkle release bullshit in the Wii, then again on the 3DS, and a third time on the fucking Wii U. This is the 4th fucking time they're doing it, and you get your ass they're going to do it a 5th dime where they start all fucking over again and release Super Mario Bros. 3 as some big fucking release for launch or post launch once more.
Who gives a fuck I can emulate them all lmao.
>Download game 10 times
>Company loses 600$
Sure, but there's also something to the argument that once you have access to everything, you hardly play anything.
>no Earthbound or 0 on the NES
>Have to wait another year or two for N64
Do you ever get tired of trolling OP? Or are you actually retarded and underage?
>Sure, but there's also something to the argument that once you have access to everything, you hardly play anything.
If you're a consumerist retard, that plays games only because he was happy to spend money, sure.
Also user, you HAVE access to everything. TPB is one click away. You have the entire collection of most games of most platforms.
Meanwhile, I never had a NES/SNES growing up, and now I've played most good/classic games on those consoles.
It's amazing how many simple things Nintendo could do to make this shit better.
They're sitting on an absolute wealth of first party property, they could put out a ton more of it rather than drip feeding it and people would be happy.
Terranigma
>giving money to have digital copies of 30 years old games, even while knowing that the original creators don't receive a penny, and some are already dead anyway
It's like you're retarded or something.
>TPB
Why even torrent roms at this point? There are literal Google Drives cataloging just about every game, including fan translations and unreleased games that got leaked. Much easier to just get in on one of those so everytime you want to play DQ3 on SFC, you don't have to find a torrent, just go on the drive, grab it, then play it and delete it when you're done.
Also, TPB is shit in general. Just get a private tracker if you're pirating newer games. Joining secret clubs isn't that hard nowadays.
>People expecting N64 support from Nintendo
Those gooks will just dump the same 20 roms that they did for the Wii eShop because that's all they can emulate and call it a day.
The N64 had like 20 good games, so it evens out.
>Why even torrent roms at this point? There are literal Google Drives
Because torrents never die as long as one person keep seeding.
Unlike megaupload or google drive links that get removed constantly.
>Also, TPB is shit in general
How so? Unlike all other trackers during the last decade, it never dies and is made to be censorship proof, you can make a copy of the entire website for 100MB. It'll never die.
>Just get a private tracker if you're pirating newer games
Why? Those are on TPB. Also private trackers are fucking retarded, because the day they'll close (they always do), EVERYTHING is lost. EVERYTHING. Doesn't happen with a public tracker.
test
No no, I'm saying that once you have a bunch of games installed, free or not, you tend to neglect most of them and only play a small number of them in earnest.
They aren't dumping the 20 good ones
>Unlike megaupload or google drive links that get removed constantly.
If you're superstitious, you can just download everything and get cloud storage to host it on. Roms are small, the biggest they ever got was on the N64 and you can get multi TB cloud drives for cheap nowadays.
>How so? Unlike all other trackers during the last decade, it never dies and is made to be censorship proof, you can make a copy of the entire website for 100MB. It'll never die.
The issue is the bad people on there, the people who upload dolphin porn or spyware.
Boomer here, this nigga has good taste. Although I would like to have the Japanese version of Actraiser because it's actually challenging.
>If you're superstitious, you can just download everything and get cloud storage to host it on. Roms are small, the biggest they ever got was on the N64 and you can get multi TB cloud drives for cheap nowadays.
Or just have them on TPB at any moment, you know.
>The issue is the bad people on there, the people who upload dolphin porn or spyware.
It never happened to me. Are you clicking at random on the internet? Jesus mate.
>KDL3
>SMW2
>Fucking Joe and Mack of all titles
It's not a bad initial release. NES was far less interesting at launch, and arguably still is.
>Are you clicking at random on the internet? Jesus mate.
yes
>Super Metroid
>ALttP
>SMW
>Not good
Nigger I will end you.
Well you deserve to be watching dolphin porn or whatever until you learn to use a computer then.
You can already rule any Square/Enix RPGs since those greedy jews have collections to sell, and that's 90% of the good NES/SNES RPGs gone
Because they already put the good games on the mini consoles
Or hell some old SMT titles
Just fucking something bro
Pretty much
Damn you Square who know such a laughingstock would own literally 90% of my nostalgia?
Frankly for a while there I thought
Square and Nintendo were the same company
>all square games
gee why don't you ask square
When are they going to add the co-opinest game?
vimm.net
all roms from nes to Wii (ps1, ps2, gamecube, dreamcast etc)
imagine paying for a super nintendo game in 2019
imagine losing access to said game
now imagine having to buy a switch for a game that every computer/laptop/phone runs today
user please delete this. The less people know about that place the less likely Nintendo will catch wind.
They will never ever ever come to NSO collections for the reason you just stated, Nintendo's not going to offer them more to publish them for free than they could make from their halfassed ports.
They do trickle release because it's more profitable.
>nintendo drops all the games at once
>people sub for the collection, only play a few, eventually drop their sub
>nintendo releases games in batches
>people keep their sub to play future games and play the new ones as they come, instead of having a steam backlog effect
Give me Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday
Creepy ass game
Why do you pay for games from 40 years ago which you can download for free?
>ALttP
>SMW
>Dreamland 3
Ya wot mate. Replaying Dreamland 3 put such a big smile on my face, shits brilliant
And like all other direct download rom website, it'll end up being deleted.
Meanwhile, torrents are eternal.
Switch to torrent, user.
Why do you pay for games from this year which you can download for free?
So i see BoF1 is included. Is it any good? Have only played IV and loved it
You're definitely not getting dragon warrior 1-3 when dragon quest 1-3 collection is dropping (for $) in a few days
3rd party games are almost never put on these type of services.
Cost money.
Sometimes it can't be done due to legal bullshit.
There are lots of good games on the service. Not all of them and definitely not the ones the original distributors put in collections, but a lot of good ones.
They need to put Turtles in Time in Asap
NES Online proved that the NES did not have many good games.
They should have released Mother on there but decided not to even on the 30th anniversary of the game's release which is such a Nintendo thing to do when everything seems so obvious and they just decide not to fucking give people what they want
