I actually do like Silent the best. Got it like a week ago and Ironclad feels a little too easy and I don't really like the way the Defect plays. Haven't tried the other one much.

I always go full retard and pick up every card without ever removing them
Remove your strikes/defend ones if you can.
Have good defensive options and ramping damage/an eventual win condition

God, I fucking hate Snekos. I can't imagine how anyone can take Sneko Eye and survive, my luck is so fucking garbage. Pretty much any encounter I get with a Sneko is a potentially run ending battle, because I only get to play 1 or 2 cards per turn.

a generic +3 damage/block probably not at the top of the list, but ones that increase scaling extend effect duration/magnitude are usually good

I may be the only person who never had a problem with the Time Easter, but that may be by insane fixation with energy generation.
Once you have 6-7 energy per turn it's dead easy to either go a third, half or 100% of the 12-card allotment and do something good.
In my thousands of hours playing the game I've never once voluntarily picked up Grand Finale and only managed to successfully actually cast it once.
I'm the sperg from one of the other threads that could beat the game easily except with that piece of shit of ironclad. I finally did it with an user suggestions so thankyou fren.
I managed to zigzag my way to the top with the usual cards but what made the difference was Barricade to double my block and that card that double strenght whatever It's called. Once i got that upgraded (it removes exaust) i could basically double my strenght over and over every 2-3 turns behind a block. Ez
I still hate this piece of shit though because it depends too much on good relics while the other 2 can manage even If they have shit energy.
However i have some question. What now? Is Ascension the next step?
after finishing all 3 characters the 3 seals in the last scene glow but nothing else happened. Is that it?
all you need is a thin deck with high amount of skills, low amount of attacks and some way to cycle and draw.
it's even possible to go infinite, with some lucky skill card and relic picks.
my infinite deck had calculated gamble+, well-laid plans+, no attacks due to card removal and pretty early grand finale pick, 2 reflexes, adrenaline, prepared, tactitian, and some other irrelevant cards I don't remember.
I'm not on PC right now so I can't link my run unfortunately.
The only real infinite I've pulled is making both All For One and Hologram zero cost thanks to Madness and then just pulling both on a loop

did you try transferring your pirated save to the original version? I've reached ascension 7 on all characters in the pirated game and want to do the same, don't know if it'll work though
I didn't bother and deleted pirated version instantly after purchasing
climbing again is fun
as you can see I fuck around on low ascension building shit decks and winning anyway

My strongest run was with ironclad, absurd blocking that didn't disappear after my turn.
I always ended up having +100 armor sitting there while going offensive

It's really fucking addictive.
I've never played many, if any rogue-likes but I adore card games. Hoping this can help hit that constant itch.
the rng dependence is crazy even having everything unlocked. I want to feel like I actually have a shot at winning if I play smart instead of it being a crapshoot every time I start a run. Beat it at least once with all 3
I used CE to counter-play the RNG in the shops and I beat him really easily with the 3 characters.
Fun game concept, but the roguelite elements ruin it.

just played my first game on this new watcher character
nailed it first try with pretty wonky stance dancing deck
Judgement+ is insane card and carried me through act 1&2 effortlessly
act 3 did a number on me and I got to the boss with like 22 hp
but just before I get to Deku & Donu I got insane shop with Adaptation and Dolly's Mirror
ended up with casting Adaptation turn 1 and steamrolling into killing them in 3 turns

Am I the only one that thinks that she sort of feels out of place in regards to the aesthetic of the game? I can't even rally place it, it might be the thick lines or the roundness of her design, but something feels off.
