I haven't played since Moira got added and even before that it was very sparse and usually just during Halloween or Summer PvE events which I really liked. Overwatch is competitive which I don't like, but it's unbalanced to high hell and is trying to compete with CS:GO or Fortnite or whatever and it can't as well which is why Blizzard is always funding it and no big minor leagues exist.

The game has charm to it and I'd hate to see all these characters and setting just go to waste for a single game that got mistreated. It's obvious no one there cares about the story and just want to make more money from it, but if the Blizzard leak is real then the next game will just be a really chill, co-op/multiplayer PvE thing like L4D but against Omnics and with character abilities.

If that's the case then I'll buy it for sure because I love that gameplay. If it isn't, then I ain't buying it. Just jerk off and move on, hope for the best for the next one.

The gameplay is much better now desu. It's no longer meme of the month so you don't have dumbasses playing it for twitch views, they acknowledged that meta is a real thing that really has to be taken into consideration when balancing characters, and they added custom modes and match queues.

I've come up with two ideas on why that is:
1. Just not big enough of an issue yet to bother. Youtube doesn't think ahead for shit at all (see the latest verified shit?) They got in trouble for Elsagate and had to clean their shit up at the last minute because big business started pulling ads a bit in a flurry of shitstorms every couple of months. This hasn't been brought up at all in the news, so why bother wasting their 'amazing' team on something like this even if it is literally the same shit that got them in trouble already?

2. The people who watch this don't want it removed from Youtube because it's their kink, so the number of reports that come into Youtube are extremely small and are pretty much ignored aside from the bot they got saying they read it.
