i still got a sealed one of those in my stash drawer, when i break out my unopened ps2 slim and hopefully it works i'ma plug this bad boy in and start saving games.

Kinda. Essentially.

it's weird that PS2 seems to inspire less nostalgia than dreamcast, XBOX and gamecube.

That's because PS2 had so many good games, a lot of people were still using theirs from time to time until about 2 years ago.
