The important shit (market board, retainer bell) is right next to the main aetherite and the stuff you'll only need once a day (inn for rest bonus, grand company hq for squadron shit) is at the aftcastle aetherite. Every other city has its important locations more spread out and requires more walking/teleporting to get anywhere.

There's no advice to be given, if you can't weave in Heat Blast without clipping your ping is too high, that's all there is to it. You should prioritize getting 5 heat blasts over weaving. Try to make sure that you have fully depleted your GR/Ricochet before entering Overheat, but honestly if you can't weave you may as well just give up on MCH, the whole job is designed around it.

For shadowbringers, yes. Can't say for sure if earlier expansions do though. When NG+ drops, try taking SCH. It's kind of hilarious realizing that your broils are hitting for more damage than SMN Akh Morns in the same duty.

Yes, all solo duties have 3 different versions, the difference between them is the enemies health and in terms of difficulty it goes dps > tank > healer with tanks having roughly half the requirements of dps and healers having half the requirements of tanks

Because the Heat Blast recast is 1.5 seconds compared to 2.3-2.5 for a normal skill. You have to squeeze in the animation lock for both Heat Blast itself and whatever you're attempting to weave. Even with 0 ping, this just barely fits. Every millisecond of latency just makes it harder.

Not really. Outside of meme rules like Ascension or Reverse, just make a deck with your strongest cards, making sure you have at least one card that is strong in each direction (up, left, right and down). Corner 8s is the most common approach and will get you through most NPCs until you start getting to ones with Plus decks specifically designed to fuck with players doing this.

Character interaction isn't the same as our own player characters interacting. They can show NPCs interacting, because NPCs have a fixed size and their interactions will always look the same. The player character has massively variable height and shape, which means if they want to show us directly touching an NPC, they have to make separate animations that account for all those possible differences in height.

That's unfeasible considering how many cutscenes are in the game, so instead our character just unsheathes their weapons and nods and shit. If we are ever implied to interact with an NPC in a cutscene, it's done by fading to black, or we attack with some kind of energy weapon at range, or it's just abstracted like we hold out our hand and this is just understood as us giving/receiving an item.

As far as I know the only cutscene in the game where we are ever shown actually touching an NPC directly is Haurchefant's death scene.
