Not sure, the demo only has time trial mode, and the hardest pack I've encountered so far didn't give me trouble, though the food and light scarcity kinda is

Does this have as much grinding as darkest dungeon had? I remember getting sick of grinding up new characters to replace deaths when I played darkest dungeon.

Game's just Darkest Dungeon meets Etrian Odyssey, and while a bit reductive it's a combination that I didn't think I wanted. I'm looking forward to its release. Might grab it on Switch just so I have a portable RPG project.

More a higher numbers deal so far, but there are quite a few abilities that hit in a line, in a cross and ones that move you or the enemy around.
Here's the movement is far more important than just moving some melee dude to the back so he doesn't hurt as much, or get a ranged guy up front
