I did not care for the Danganronpa series.
I did not care for the Danganronpa series
no one did
Its just a style over substance version of Ace attorney with mini games that make the gameplay worse, not better.
MEAT ON THE BONE
I couldn't get into it even as a weeb, gameplay is just so shit. Porn still good though.
ON BONE, THE MEAT
Did you retards really fuck up MEAT ON THE BONE?
ON THE MEAT BONE is a valid combination.
The beta version looked so much better than what we got
First game was great and it was obviously never meant to have sequels
So of course the sequels are fucking retarded and I hated them
HOLY FREAKIN' CRAP!
>Did you retards really fuck up MEAT ON THE BONE?
i did it first time without reading, i didn't know what the fuck was going on so i just mashed the keys
I'm glad to see a lot of people found MEAT ON THE BONE retarded as fuck, that shit pissed me off and made me stop playing
ON THE MEAT BONE could've meant any bone in any piece of meat at the party. MEAT ON THE BONE specifies the singular piece of meat on the bone in the kitchen.
I dropped it past the first title. What is "MEAT ON THE BONE"? Is it another Anderson colossal fuckup?
I liked 1 all the way until the end and that final dialogue sequence was long and fucking shit and turned me off of the series.
THE MEAT ON BONE
You missed the point congrats
The sequels are shit though so you didnt miss anything
no i did not, i looked up the rest and read what would have taken 30 more minutes to play minimum in 8 min
In DR2 you end the Bullet Time Battles (now called Panic Talk Actions) by putting together a phrase split into four parts as the damning evidence against the culprit, instead of just using a Truth Bullet. The solution to the first one is MEAT ON THE BONE but the dish is only referred to like that one or two times in optional dialogue so most people wouldn't really know the correct phrasing they're looking for, and might guess other combinations like BONE ON THE MEAT or ON THE MEAT BONE
The other Trials have solutions that aren't ambiguous like that, and even if the mechanic is pretty janky (like most of DR2's new minigames) it's absolutely worth it for how they use it in the final Trial.
>it's absolutely worth it for how they use it in the final Trial.
It was simultaneously kinda stupid, but also amazing.
spoiler what happens for me user, you have me curious
It's Chuck from Chuck's Suck and Fuck!
That's Sneed, actually
I do not care for Pokemon Sword & Shield version
The last PTA is the Mastermind losing their shit and you shut them up by spelling out THAT'S WRONG!
you and your dead AI gf say NO THAT'S WRONG together.
I liked 1 and 2 enough but I’ve had 3 for like 2 years now and still haven’t finished it. Stopped shortly after space dude and liar man died and just haven’t had motivation to see how it actually ends.
Seesaw is still the most hilarious case in the series.
Understandable. The games overall got worse after Junko was introduced; prove me wrong.
No, it's Farmer # 2
Junko shouldn't have been in any game besides the first one, and V3 saying the game's formula is tired is dumb since they're the one perpetuating it.
holy crap
Farmer #2 is Sneed because 2 is formerly 1, you need to dive deep into this.
DR 2 is the best one
If that was Sneed, it would have referred to him as Sneed in the credits, that was just one of Sneed's employees
Something about the artstyle is massively off putting. Can't quite articulate why.
In DR2 she has a much better performance than in DR1, and her actual goal made a lot more sense than it did in DR1. Her monologue near the end that pushes Hajime over the deep end is excellent. Even if you don't like her it's not like she retroactively ruins the rest of the game, which was almost all a step up from DR1.
In Ultra Despair Girls she's technically not really involved at all and the twist involving her at the very end is easily one of the best executed twists in the whole series, but maybe that helps your point since it also has the best writing in the series.
V3 really doesn't have anything to do with her and it manages to be a mess for completely separate reasons.
I thought I was retarded because I keep inputting the same shit over and over thinking HOW THE FUCK.
I only really liked the series for the executions, I enjoyed how grim and brutal they could be, and the fact that they'd be tailored to each specific talent was pretty neat. DR2 really dropped the ball on this but luckily V3 picked it back up.
If that helps you sleep at night
yeah the wiki for the unused ones is neat as well. I like Taka's execution
Aren't both of them just visual novels?
The only thing I know from that series is the big fingers in Kanye west ass guy
Yeah but Ace Attorney is generally much more well written
They're not pure VNs, Danganronpa has plenty of actual gameplay
V3 went almost a little too overboard, mainly 3-2's. Jesus christ.
I played DR1 on my Vita and it was fucking ass.
I managed to predict the outcome of each case except for the second one before the trial phase.
Only good characters were Sakura and Taka, but the game killed them both off and even took a big steaming shit on Taka before dumping him off.
All the surviving characters are either non existent, Weedman and Akane, horrible, Touko, or flip flopping bastards, Togami and baconhands.
Plot twist and setting were also shit, the script was cringy whole way through.
Started playing DR2 soon after and played until the first class court phase before giving up.
I looked up later what the big twist was to see if I'd gotten it right in my time playing and they really fucking did the whole VR thing at the end.
Steer away from this franchise, there are better alternatives.
>Lol I'm such an ironic weeb, haha weeb trash. Here's an exclamation point! Because did I mention I'm a smelly weeb? Haha HOPE! Lol!
That's you, Danganronpa fans
>there are better alternatives
I wish
Is that...? Don't tell me...
