It's been out for more than half of a decade.

>Ni No Kuni
More like Niki Niko Ni!

Normalfags hate anime.

Never heard of it, but that looks cool, what's it about? what platforms?

Nintendo DS

Because the combat is the worst I've ever played. The sequel is better

Oliver was a cool kid

Why does it reminds me of studio Ghibli's animes?

I never beat the PS3 version so I might get this. I just don't know if I should get the Switch or PS4 version.

Because the original game was done in collaboration with Studio Ghibli.

Because it is one.

I hated this game when I first played it.
Geniune hate.
It's one of the worst JRPGs I've played.
It introduces some kind of puzzle, and then spends a good 5 minutes repeating it's solution before even letting you attempt to solve it by yourself.
The combat is shitty too.
I hate this game.

It was mediocre and there were far worse games releasing at the time. It's like a solid 6.5/10. Sequel was a 7/10 but would have been lower if not for Evan.

>60 fucking euro for an 8-year old port
I was always interested in finally playing the game but that's just insane. No thanks.

>sequel better than the first one

You are clinically insane. The Wizard's Companion alone is more worthwhile than the entirety of the sequel.

NNK
>Soulful
>Shit gameplay

NNK2
>Soulless
>Decent gameplay

There actually is a decent game buried under all the tutorials. It holds your hand for nearly the entire length.

The problem with the game is it drip feeds you essential gameplay mechanics for it's entire length as if a tradtional JRPG would be too complex for people if they just plopped it on you at the start, so it's really bare-bones until right at the very end you've finally got something resembling a good game, then it just ends.

I want to replay this and I like playing rpgs on in handheld so how is it on switch?

Its a remaster of a really old game

Ironically, this is still the best version to play since it doesn't have the ass party AI of the home console version.
