I read this a lot but dual wield is so fast, missing a few attacks shouldn't matter that much

depends if you leveled the zoomer way (aoe through instances) or the boomer way (solo with wpvp)

It's not that, it's about scaling in damage. Fury doesn't have good scaling until a certain AP threshhold. Trying to level as fury is a pain in the ass compared to trying to level as arms, and I've tested this personally with equal gear. It's about the scaling, not missing.

This is no different to any other MMO, you eventually get to a point (pretty quickly) where you've cleared the raid content and you need to wait for resets. This is what I'm doing on FFXIv atm, I logon tuesday, play for a couple of hours then logoff until next reset and play WoW. The difference is when BGs and the honor system comes out I can PVP in the down time for fun whereas in other games I just have to logoff.

If a guild uses unfair loot rules just don't play with them. The fairest thing is to have someone on master looter then have every class/spec that can use an item roll on it and then that person can't roll on another piece of gear. If no one wants the item then you roll for your offspec, if still no one rolls for it you hand it over to a trusted guild member for disenchanting purposes.

This is how my guild operated and there was very little butthurt and we cleared all content.

On launch MS dealt THREE hundred percent weapon damage. In 1.20 it was changed to a flat amount.

The "arms is good for dps" is based on actual launch, not the Classic version. Arms is still good though. Just not as good as fury for deeps, and it has infinitely more utility.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with using arms or fury to level. Its just if you want to be autistic fury 2hander is best until you can duel wield with +hit.

MMOs are an absolute cancerous genre that the world can't be rid of soon enough. There's minimal skill involved and minimal skill developed past a point. It's just a high amount of time investment required that gives the illusion of progress. Fighting games, MOBAs, shooters, 4x/strategy games, are all about building some sort of skill. They're actually more like a sport or art in that doing them makes you better at them. You don't play a fighting game for 100 hours and suddenly you unlock a stronger uppercut that other people don't have access to. You don't play 50 hours of soccer and unlock the ability to grab the ball with your hands and run it down the field. Other than just throwing your time into a vortex, I don't see the appeal of MMOs at all.

All classes and specs are viable. Shut the fuck up. You can clear the content in greens. Stop being elitist.

More importantly, I can't fucking STAND lookingforgroup. It's fucking impossible to filter through all these spammers who do multi-line shit. I report them all for spamming but it doesn't help much. There was a great addon for vanilla private servers called vQueue which just read the chat, hid it from view, and put it in the box under whatever dungeon was being advertised and what they needed. You just hit a button to open a whisper to say you want to join. Made shit so much easier.

You aren't owed a raid slot or the raiding experience. Your journey is over. You made it to 60, but things just didn't work out in the end. That's the classic MMO experience. Back in the days of Everquest we'd sometimes sit around for 2 hours doing absolutely nothing at the entrance to a dungeon just waiting for a spot to open up in one of the groups. We'd wait for 24 hours+ just for a mob to spawn. This was a game where people locked their children in a closet until they starved to death and it is the origin of the poop sock. That is hardcore gameplay and you entitled kids just can't appreciate having to put in a little sweat and elbow grease to getting the results you want.

And without the employees at the corporation there would be no business, but the CEO and executive team still commands several times the salary than the grunts. In a guild, you're a grunt. Unless you're some amazingly skilled player that's somehow able to work magic that others can't, you're completely interchangeable. We could power level a 12 year old relative to do your job.
