After playing it for 26 hours total so far I'd say it is the best Spiders' game. But it is still Spiders' game. I like it, people who expected Bioware-style adventure might be disappointed (unless your favorite game from them is KOTOR).

In my experience they just run head first into any aoe effect and die immediately no matter how epic their gear is, but I guess it's helpful that they give me time to thin out the herd in big fights before all the enemies collapse on me as the last legate standing.

Every clan goes with its color for armor, but de Sardine can get only blue islander's gloves? Can I get red gloves, from Siora's clan?
Maybe the problem is that I play with every armor for every seller mod? In vanilla you can buy differently colored islander's armor from clan traders?

It's the best "class" in the game. Get the revolver. The Bomb annihilates most of the heavy armored foes. Makes playing on hard pretty easy.
