Microsoft is the most pro consumer out of the big 3, why are they in last place? Why don't consumers value themself more?

You know what would be better than this? Actual content.

They were the most anti consumer out of the big 3 for a very long time
Of course they're now trying to be pro consumer to get customers back

>pro consumer
>paved the way for the modern buy 2 pay, microtransaction loot box bullshit
yeah no sweetie

this, there’s like 9 base game characters

>were
Wow, it's nothing.

That explains why they're last place now, you double dipsh*t

>My heads stuck in 2005
Back to your cuckshed, Sterling.

They are "ahead of the industry" and more pro-consumers than Nintendo and Sony because they are stopping doing anti-consumers shit Nintendo and Sony never did in the first place?

>premium currency is now consumer-friendly
Dear god, what a world.

>everbody else gets a pass since its norm

>"player-friendly" purchase systems
Hey, I have a player-friendly purchase system.
Let the players purchase the game.
Then let them just play it.
That's it.

idk

Isn't that just premium currency?

Halo Infinite will be a massive success.

While sony and nintendo were busy making games, microsoft was busy putting mtc in single players games, which gave the green light for 3rd party publishers to follow suit, just because they jerk themselves off for not putting loot boxes in gears 5 does not outdo the damage they did

>putting mtc in single players games
What SP games?

>using anything owned by microsoft

All the launch titles for xbox one

Dead Rising 3 didn't have any mtc

>industry begins to fear gacha loot boxes will be cracked down on
>go back to old monetization models where you still had to pay for shit, but you didn't have to GAMBLE ON THE CHANCE of getting the shit
extremely progressive
maybe some day we'll progress so far we have vanity cosmetics be earnable by doing in-game achievements instead of buying them

Valve was the one that popularized MTX. MS was the one who made map packs and paid online popular.

I will say, to my everlasting shame, I love the game. I didn't expect to, but it gave me that Gears multiplayer gameplay I didn't realize I had been missing so much since 360. I've been playing daily since launch.

But the monetization isn't anything new, its just mobile trash. Yeah by definition of a lootbox you don't purchase a random chance but if you want you still have a limited amount of time to buy items with real money and a limited amount of time time to earn gameplay-only unlocks. The whole thing is one big fomo. Its far from "player friendly". I don't care about playing dress-up and I don't care about their lore rape of a story so that doesn't effect me, but it shouldn't be praised.

I miss Anya.
