The Road is based and redpilled. The last of us is still my first and second best game I played on PS4.

Gameplay is fine. It’s barebones and simplistic, but it’s polished and plays excellent.

The cutscenes ruin games like this. The immersion is constantly being destroyed. You’ll go from being Joel and taking down a dozen or so armoured guards all by yourself, but in the cutscenes, when the control is taken away from the player, Joel can easily get toppled or fucked by a single soldier. This applies to Ellie as well.

It’s a 10/10 fantastic game if you’re like 13 and don’t know what is a good video game is yet. If you’re an adult this is a game that’s hard to buy into.

The interrogations mp mode is incredibly based but is now filled with cheating faggots who fuck up the game, if you play 10 games at least 4 will have cheaters in it

I liked it, wish there was more gamplay though, Id have been fine with a survival mode or something, it was actually alright to play, its just that it has way too much of what felt like "this is cut-scene but you are controlling the characters" segments.

I think its reputation as being overrated has made people say its dogshit 0/10, it really isnt, it is just that, overrated, its definitely not the best videogame ever but its not a bad experience. I think Morrowind is overrated, but I would never in a million years say its a bad game. Outrage culture is fucking stupid.

I like to image what Dark Souls would be like if it was given to a Western developer like Naughty Dog to make the fourth game. Overly cinematic, dialogue that hits you over the head, most of the NPCs would be PoC. You’d only get to choose between a few weapons, because they don’t want to overwhelm the player, a sword, an axe, a katana, a mace, a dagger, and a hammer. Keeps it simple for everyone. No more upgrading weapons, the game will do that for you as you progress they levels. Soul levels are removed because stating is too complex. Let’s do a talent tree instead.

I can't think of a better third person action game that tries to be realistic/grounded than The Last of Us.

Like every other PS4 exclusive I can think of, TLOU has a great story and subpar gameplay. Not worth the money.

It looked good before it came out but no one ever brings up just how hard Naughty Dog was lying about it.

Compared to every other third person shooter I've played. It's just a shooter, and it's not a particularly great one at that. It's only an okay game, and if it didn't have the good story no one would give a shit about it.
Same thing with Spider-Man and HZD.

I think it is a pretty good game.
I hated it during launch because I fell into some memes and also I owned an X360 back then so I wouldn't able to play it anyways.
BUT in 2016 when I bought a PS4 with Bloodborne I also bought TLOU:R and the was good, really fucking good.
Unironically when I finished I understood why the press and people love it.

Regardless of whether you like the story or not, Spider-Man was praised because people loved its story, and its version of the characters. The gameplay is just like every other Spider-Man game. That's my point.

Dunkey's first video review was spot on. A mediocre story where 50% of the gameplay is walk and talk and the puzzles consist of carrying ladders around is boring as fuck.

Also, do not tell me the combat is good. The AI got nerfed to fuck and back. It was fun in the e3 demo but that turned out to be smoke and mirrors.
