You replace google with bing as your browser's search engine, sign into the account you use w/ xbox live, go to a new tab, search something, and click on the medal icon in the top right hand corner and it will start to give you MS points for searching/doing misc tasks. Once you have enough points you can exchange them for $5 in xbox credit.
You can also install the rewards app on your xbox and get large amounts of points for really easy tasks
