1. Having lowered expectations means the damage of it being disappointed is lessened.
2. People have seen the first State of Play, and it set the tone for the events.
3. Sony's priorities are somewhere between a mess, and confusing.

Not only were the last 2 complete and utter shit but Sony has shown fuck all for a few years now.
I don't think we'll be seeing jack shit until at least next year when the next gen of consoles will probably be shown.

The only way this'll be interesting is Ape Escape 4 that they've been hinting at.
So instead we'll get some garbage VR minigames collection and the series will die again.

All of their efforts are on the next gen console, but they're greed as fuck and don't want to just pull out of this gen completely, at least not when there is another 14 months before they release the new console.
