I been working as concept artist for 20 years now. All company retains the rights for commissioned work, the only way KK have copyright of his works is if Atlus lincensed his previous arts to use it on the game. Here is two options:
>A)First book was in part funded by Kaneko or his editor, which is notodd at all, since all books rights stand for near 7 years, soungs legit.
>B)Kaneko was co-owner of the rights and he sold the 100% of the rights to atlus and now atlus is the full owner or the new publisher.
