I know some but i choose not to tell you.

I might know a few, but I'm not saying.

roguelike as in actually like rogue, or roguelike as in not really, or roguelite as in it's not even remotely the same genre anymore

I know lots, but I ain't tellin' you shit.

that's discrimintation

Dicey dungeons for quick and fun
Dungeons of dredmor for a proper rogue like with ton of stuff in it.

X-Com UFO Defense (Not Nu-Com)

they all look the same

the only reason you're still alive is that the doctor couldn't tell you from the placenta

Cogmind
And I don't know how this one ranks on the "roguelike" scale, but unReal World is a pretty neat game. It's probably more of a survival game than a roguelike, but it does share some mechanics. It's about being an iron-age nordic man and trying not to die and it's quite comfy.

Degrees of lewdity.

ONE GUY?

NO CONTINUES?

The one I'm working on.
jk it's either going to end up as vaporware or hit by a C&D

Top three are Slay the Spire, Faster Than Light, and Enter the Gungeon.

(You)

those are good games, but they absolutely do not belong in this thread and I hope you were being ironic

Chads play ToME on Insane

Oldschool roguelike that's the gold standard:
Nethack

Overly complex roguelike for if you have autism:
Dwarf Fortress adventure mode

Simple roguelike for if you just want to mindlessly whack monsters:
Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup

Roguelike with a lot of special abilities and complex builds:
Tales of Maj'Eyal

Roguelike if you're a filthy casual:
Dungeons of Dredmor

Roguelike if you actually want a rhythm game:
Crypt of the Necrodancer

those are my personal recommendations. My personal favorite is Tales of Maj'Eyal but I got the most satisfaction out of beating Nethack. Beating Nethack the first time made me feel like a gaming God

ToME bro's represent

ADOM

>play ToME on insane
>enter starter zone
>pile of worms duel wielding guns start shooting me from outside my vision
>swarm of mosquitoes attack me with a greatsword and stunlock me
>I see a tree in the distance using psychic powers
>manage to escape and start drowning innocent villagers

truly a magical game
