All the 3DS games had fantastic music and won't be topped anytime soon.

For me it was Shadows of Valentia. Could've been Three Houses but they put dubstep in even though no one has listened to that genre since 2011.

that plays almost every single fight. Shit's as bad as Assault from Awakening interrupting your map theme every enemy turn, if not worse.

Hearing DO-DO-DO DO-DO-DO DOOT DOOT for, without exaggeration, hundreds of times was not great. Especially the second version which is abrasive on the ears. The default battle music you hear is the same for almost every enemy but bosses, it gets so old by even the halfway point.

I've never played Fire Emblem. Recommend me the series best, please.

Best series entry point is Path of Radiance. You won't find a disc for it, so just emulate it.

There is no definitive series best because each game is pretty decisive if people like it not. However FE7, FE8, and Path of Radiance are usually good starting points for new players.
