There are some game mechanics behind it. I say it's beeter than the previous Bordelqnds games because the bosses have gimmicks besides being big guy with gun #30271800. Like Captain Trent and Kill-a-Volt are completely different gameplay wise and require you to think about where you are when shooting them. In BL1 all you needed to do was pick Brick and use your action skill and 9/10 you'll win. In BL2 it was Krieg or the Gunzerker.

Even though I think it's cool when games canonize past player characters in the game world, like how Roland, Lilith, Brick, and Mordecai all became characters in BL2, I was looking forward to seeing how the BL2 player characters, including Kreig and Gaige, were canonized as characters. Not buying the game because the gameplay is really tired and I could barely TPS, but hearing that Maya and Lilith die is really lame.

It was both cool and scary that they were going to use Tales from the Borderlands characters, because they're the best characters from the best Borderlands game funny enough, but I hope they weren't ruined.

The best they got so far is a unique crack for every user, which is beyond impossible, so they're still working on a universal crack. Also mentions about how it's a keylogger that detects your mouse movement and could potentially be something pretty damn illegal to keep pirates out, but otherwise, it's all still being worked at.

I think the Steam release will come out sooner than a free version, I'm afraid. However, someone found out you can refund the game and the instillation and executable file is still in the system even if you uninstall it, so you can technically play it for free.

The characters themselves are somehow offensively boring unfortunately. Making them youtube stars ruined any potential they may have had.

There's a quest where she asks you to kill yourself for a gun. She specifically calls you a gun slut. If you do kill yourself she rewards you with a gun that has her voice lines similar to what the Bane and Loader guns do in BL2. The voice lines are encouraging bandits to kill you and gets frustrated with why you're still alive. It's a shitty gun though but it's pretty cute. I tried to find a video of it but it seems the people who clipped it haven't realized what the gun does.

While I agree in principle, I cast was getting too big to have them all. They just chose the wrong ones to keep.
